Earth Day celebration

Earth Day celebration at Indiranagar Campus. The students were made aware of the importance of trees and the variety things provided to human beings by trees. The children pledged to plant and protect trees.

JYEP

The JYEP animators along with JYEP co-ordinators visited the Shri Ram Udyogik Anathalaya in Aliganj on the occasion of Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan. The Students of the branch contributed Notebooks, Crayons, Pencils, Erasers, Sharpeners, Rakhis and Chocolates which were given to the children living in the orphanage.

The JYEP Animators helped the children to colour the national flag and told them the significance of the Tricolour. The children sang and danced together with the Animators on various patriotic. They even tied rakhis on their wrists.

The Students realized the importance of having loving families and understood their roles as responsible citizens of the society.

Activity based on Give and Share

  1. At CMS Indiranagar, we have always believed that ‘We receive to give and share’ and the same we instill in young minds.

  2. In this regard, the branch joined hands with the Robinhood Army which is a zero funds organization that works to get surplus food from the community to serve the less fortunate people.

  3. On 15th August the Robinhood Army is taking out a mega drive to collect rice, flour and pulses from the various sections of the society to help the less fortunate.

  4. The students and staff of CMS, Indiranagar contributed generously for the cause. The students pledged to save food and serve the society in every possible way.



Thank You

In order to inculcate the virtue of gratefulness in young minds, the Project ‘Thank You’ has been undertaken by Indiranagar branch under the able guidance of our Principal, Mrs Ruchi Bhuwan Joshi.

The students were told to make Thank You Cards out of old wedding invitation cards for their mothers and list all those things for which they feel grateful to their mothers. It helped students to realise the importance of Mother on one’s life and the sacrifices a mother makes to provide a good upbringing to her child/children. The students made beautiful cards with heartfelt notes for their mothers and pledged to respect and look after their mothers always.

Winners of Interschool Competition

The students made the branch proud by winning various prizes in the Interschool Competition organized by Springdale College. The Primary students won II Prize in Vers-e-Style (group elocution); Tanya Mishra won II Prize in Expressions (Slogan Writing); Ritika and Anvesha won II Prize in Poster Making.

On the first day of the new academic session of 2019-2020, the students were given a warm welcome by the teachers.

Activities: Various activities were organized by the teachers like thumb printing, paper cutting, coloring, and number day for the pre primary students.


Earth Day



Earth Day was celebrated enthusiastically at the branch to demonstrate our support to conserve and preserve the environment. In the pre primary section the students watered the plants in the school campus and they were told about the importance of trees. The primary students brought saplings and planted it in the school vicinity. Junior students presented a skit highlighting how human beings out of their greed have exploited all natural resources and now it is time to make our earth clean, green and pure.


World Heritage Day

On the occasion of World Heritage Day, the students visited the Bada Imamabad, Clock Tower and the Picture Gallery. It made them aware of our rich cultural heritage and the immediate need to preserve our monuments.


International Siblings Day


Love All, Serve All


To inculcate love and respect for fellow human beings, project "Love All, Serve All" was undertaken by the students of pre primary section of Indiranagar branch. The students brought food packets from home and distributed them in slum areas near Bhoothnath Market, Indiranagar and Waves Mall, Gomtinagar. The purpose of the project was to sensitize students of the needs of people around them and be grateful to Almighty for all His blessings.
