Lucknow, 25 January : City Montessori School is presenting a unique tableau on the theme 'Vishwa Ekta Lana Hai, Vasudha Kutumb Banana Hai' (We have to bring about World Unity and create a world based on the ideal of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam) at this year's Republic Day Parade. The tableau is the centre of attraction as it stands majestically at Ravindralaya, Charbagh, Lucknow. It was presented in all its glory before the press reporters at a press conference held today. On this occasion, CMS President and MD, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon highlighted the unique features of the tableau conceptualized by her father, the late Dr Jagdish Gandhi. Addressing the press personnel, Prof Kingdon said that this CMS tableau highlights the spirit of the Constitution of India and high ideals of 'Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam'. It calls upon the people to live in perfect harmony, brotherhood, peace and love. Moreover, it signifies the school's purpose as a lighthouse of society, a meeting point of all religions where children learn universal values and develop global understanding.
Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon further explained that the CMS tableau is in five parts and every part imparts the message of world unity in its own way. The front part of the tableau shows a little child holding the globe in his hand, which imparts the message of "Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam". The second part of the tableau gives the message of unity in diversity. It shows the places of worship of various religions viz Temple, Mosque, Church, Gurudwara, Baudh Vihaar and Baha'i temple, giving the message that the source of all religions is one God. Here, students are seen dancing with joy on the tableau song. The third and middle part of this unique tableau shows a school building. A student of the school is seen receiving enlightenment and education from the Avatars or Divine Manifestations of different religions through their Holy Books. It is believed that the spiritual teachings of all religions are the same though rituals and ways of worship may differ. The fourth part of the tableau shows the school as a lighthouse of society, which shows the path of enlightenment and righteousness to society. The rear end of the tableau shows a teacher or a guru who imparts knowledge and wisdom to the students. The message is that teachers are not only the instillers of knowledge but also transmitters of morality, builders of character and custodians of culture.
On this occasion, students of CMS Station Road Campus called for making the earth a heaven through presentation of an inspirational dance on the tableau song, 'Duniya Ke Saare Deshon Ko Ye Sandesh Sunana Hai, Seemaon Ka Bhed Bhulakar Vishwa Ekta Lana Hai, Vasudha Kutumb Banana Hai' before the members of the press.
