Lucknow, 25 February: City Montessori School, Rajajipuram campus II organized Mini Sports Day for the little ones in a grand manner in the school premises today. On this occasion, the parents of students were enthralled to see their wards’ sporting talents. Students gave the message of a Fit and Young India through various interesting sports competitions.
Earlier, the sports day commenced with the all religion and world unity prayers. A stiff competition was seen amongst the participants to score medals in various sports competitions and the students gave their best showcasing their strength, stamina, and talent. Students displayed their agility and sporting talents in frog jump, sprint race, balloon bursting, hurdle run, ball balancing, three legged race, sack race, chain race etc. The winning students were awarded certificates, medals and shields.
Principal of CMS Rajajipuram Campus II, Mrs Anupama Checker said that such sporting events are necessary for physical and intellectual development of students. Therefore, such events promote cooperation, boost self-confidence and inspire the students to give their best in life. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that a playground is the place which gives birth to several qualities in students and helps in formation of a good character. Such events enhance the feeling of unity in life.
