\"Legal<\/p>\n

EVENT \u2013 For Team<\/strong><\/p>\n

This Event is to review the famous legal cases of the world enacting a court room trial of the same.<\/b><\/p>\n

Time 3 Hours<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rules:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. A team in this event shall be represented by any 6 members of the team 1-lawyer (spokesperson) 1-Assistant lawyer, 1-Petitioner\/Respondent, 3-witnesses\/ helpers.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. A famous legal case shall be given to two teams to present in front of the Judge.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. One team shall be the team of Petitioner (the side which brings the legal case to the court) and the other the team of Respondent (the team who responses to the appeal made by the petitioner).<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. The two sides shall then put forth their arguments for \/against the case respectively with the relevant sections of law\/evidences\/witnesses in an atmosphere of real time court room settings on stage.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Each side shall also prepare a MEMORIAL (a file) which will contain details of the case such as \u2013topic of the case, state their side, arguments put forth, relevant sections of law in their favour, witnesses\u2019 statements, statements of jurisdiction.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. After receiving the confirmation of the entry, the Team will be informed about the Legal case and also the side through email by 10<\/span>th<\/span> July 2025.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. The lawyers and the assistant lawyer must wear white shirt, black trousers, black tie, black coat, and black shoes.<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. The event shall have two rounds \u2013 Preliminary and Final round.<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. Timings: <\/span>Final round \u2013 Total 13 minutes<\/b> \u2013 4 minutes to the Petitioner\u2019s lawyer, 4 minutes to the Respondent\u2019s lawyer, 4 minutes for arguments and 1 minute for the closing statement.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Preliminary round \u2013 Total 10 minutes<\/b> – 3 minutes to the Petitioner, 3 minutes to the Respondent, 3 minutes for arguments and 1 minute for the closing statement.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. \u00a0Best 10 cases (20 teams) shall go in the final round.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
