Rules & Regulations

  1. Each team is represented by two participants who will write a preliminary qualifying Written Round individually, which will be conducted before the Final Science Quiz.
  2. The questions will be selected from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science. Marks of this round are not added to the final tally. The teams which qualify will participate in the Final Science Quiz. The Final Science Quiz comprises visuals, oral questions and real-time response tasks. Correct answers fetch marks for the teams. No marks are deducted for incorrect answers or for no responses. The questions are not passed to the next team. At the end of each round, the marks and positions are announced. Teams are eliminated at each stage in the Final Science Quiz.
  3. The Buzzer Round is the last. Here, each question is open to every participant. The participant who presses the buzzer first gets the privilege to answer the question. Every correct answer will result in teams getting marks. Marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
Participants will compete for the following awards:
  • First, Second and Third Positions
  • Two Honourable mentions
