Event Concept Note

The 26th edition of Quanta is more than an event—it is a celebration of curiosity, intellect, and global togetherness and a movement that aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals:

  • SDG 4: Quality Education – Quanta provides a dynamic platform for students to extend their learning in science, mathematics, mental ability, electronics, and robotics beyond the classroom. By fostering cross-cultural collaboration and global citizenship, the event strengthens both academic excellence and intercultural understanding—cornerstones of quality education.
  • SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure – Through robotics and electronics challenges, Quanta cultivates inventive thinking and practical problem-solving skills, equipping young innovators to drive the technological breakthroughs and resilient infrastructure of tomorrow.
  • SDG 13: Climate Action – While Quanta embraces a broad spectrum of scientific inquiry, its challenges—such as robotics and aqua-based competitions—encourage participants to explore creative solutions in environmental technology, echoing CMS’s long-standing commitment to sustainability and global climate action.

Did you know that, according to the Future of Jobs report by the World Economic Forum, over 65% of today’s students will work in careers that do not yet exist, driven by advancements in science, technology, AI, and robotics? This reality underscores the need for experiential learning opportunities that not only test knowledge but also cultivate 21st-century skills, such as creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving. The 26th International Quanta – A Biennial Festival of Science, Mathematics, AI & Robotics event, hosted by City Montessori School, Chowk Campus, provides just that—a global stage for young minds to innovate, collaborate, and inspire change.

Why Attend Quanta 2025?

  • Experience an international platform where students from across the globe converge to compete, collaborate, and celebrate knowledge.
  • Engage in hands-on challenges across science, mathematics, computer,  mental ability, AI, and robotics that go beyond textbooks.
  • Be a part of a tradition since 1994, fostering global unity under the ethos of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the world is one family.
  • Witness the power of collaborative problem-solving as students push the boundaries of imagination and innovation.

Its spirit shines in the journey of CMS alumnus Shubhanshu Shukla, who, in June 2025, became the first Indian Astronaut aboard the International Space Station. His story reflects how hands-on STEM learning and value-based education nurturing global citizenship, critical thinking and problem-solving skills at CMS can ignite passions that transform into world-changing achievements. Quanta 2025 continues this legacy—empowering students to dream boldly, act responsibly, and shape a better future for all.
