PRINCIPAL & CONVENOR OF QUANTA

Mrs Aditi Sharma, Principal and Convenor of QUANTA

As Principal of City Montessori School, Chowk Campus, and Convenor of the 26th International Quanta, I am pleased to welcome student teams, mentors, and educators from across the globe to this year’s event. Quanta has, over the years, evolved into a forum where young minds engage with scientific inquiry, technological innovation, and intellectual exchange on an international scale.

This year, the competitions cover diverse disciplines—Science, Mathematics, AI & robotics—and are designed not only to test knowledge but also to apply it in practical contexts. Student teams will participate in competitions including the Science quiz, the Mathematics and Mental Ability quiz, the Hackathon, the Aqua Challenge race and the Obstacle Robot Race competitions. Students will be challenged to think critically, innovate, and create solutions to contemporary issues, reflecting the core vision of Quanta: preparing the next generation to confront real-world challenges with skill and responsibility.

With participation from countries across continents, Quanta fosters cultural understanding along with academic rigour. It is a unique opportunity for students to learn from one another, collaborate across borders, and experience the dynamism of global problem-solving. Beyond winning medals, the true achievement lies in gaining confidence, applying concepts hands-on, and developing resilience in tackling complex tasks.

Through Quanta, we strive to provide a platform where curiosity meets creativity, where science, mathematics, AI and robotics connect with society, and where young people discover the power of knowledge applied with purpose. I wish all the participants a fulfilling experience, and I am confident that the spirit of collaboration, innovation, and friendship will continue to define this distinguished event.
