Theme & Event Summary:<\/b> Seasons of Life<\/span><\/i><\/h4>\n

Participants will use the<\/span> changing seasons as a metaphor to reflect feelings and emotions <\/b>expressed through literary pieces.<\/span><\/p>\n

Objective<\/b><\/h3>\n

This competition aims to encourage students to <\/span>blend the power of literature with the emotional depth of music<\/b>. By reciting poems or monologues with live or recorded instrumental support, participants will learn to enhance expression, timing, and stage presence, thereby creating a more immersive and engaging performance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Competition Norms<\/b><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • The competition is designed for the <\/span>Junior Section<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The performance duration must be a minimum of three minutes and must not exceed five minutes.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Each team must consist of a minimum of four and a maximum of six participants.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The team must create and present an original poem inspired by the given theme.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Pre-recorded vocals in the background track are not permitted. Background music may be live (instrumental) or recorded instrumental.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The music should complement the recitation and must not overpower it.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Participants must bring their own musical arrangements (USB or instruments, if required).<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Props and costumes are permitted, but they should be relevant to the theme and performance.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Plagiarism of content must be strictly avoided.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Backdrop on the LED screen will not be provided by the organisers. Teams must submit their music and backdrop at the registration desk during registration.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
