Session 2024-25 - Seven students selected for UPSC Civil Services

Lucknow, 17 April : The brilliant students of City Montessori School once again added a new record to the golden history of the school with their outstanding abilities. This record was created with a total of seven CMS students qualifying the prestigious Civil Services Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) this year, with its student Aditya Srivastava securing the All India 1st Rank. The other six CMS students who have achieved brilliant success in this prestigious examination are Kunal Rastogi, Mrinal Kumar, Shivansh Asthana, Jahnvi Dubey, Samyak Chaudhary and Abhyudaya Pratap. Furthermore, another CMS student Prakhar Singh has hoisted the flag of his merit by securing the All India 10th rank in the National Labor Service Examination conducted by the UPSC. Thus, a total of 8 students of CMS achieved very high success this year, raising the school flag high and bringing laurels to the city of Lucknow. In this context, CMS hosted a press conference at Kanpur Road campus today in which these outstanding students of CMS, along with their parents and family members, CMS Founder-Director Dr. Bharti Gandhi, CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon and principals of various CMS campuses spoke to the media persons in detail about this unprecedented achievement.

Giving out the details on the CMS students qualifying the prestigious Civil Services Examination at the press conference, CMS Founder-Director and renowned educationist Dr. Bharti Gandhi said that while Aditya Srivastava has topped the entire country by securing first rank, Kunal Rastogi has secured 15th rank, Mrinal Kumar has secured 197th rank, Shivansh Asthana has secured 260th rank, Jahnvi Dubey has secured 324th rank, Samyak Chaudhary has secured 704th rank and Abhyudaya Pratap has secured 874th rank. Dr Gandhi further said that CMS instills brilliance in its students. Over the past 12 years, 77 CMS students secured success in the most coveted Civil Services. She urged all the successful students to focus on the five primary needs of humans - food, clothes, housing, education, and health.

Speaking at the press conference, Mr Ajay Kumar Srivastava, father of the All India topper Aditya Srivastava, said that I owe CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi, the Principal and the teachers for his success while Aditya's mother Mrs Abha Srivastava expressed her feelings as CMS teachers filled him with boundless confidence and guided him carefully. Shivansh Asthana mentioned that interviewers showed happiness upon learning that he studied at CMS, as it made him stand out. The legacy we achieved from Dr Jagdish Gandhi is truly outstanding, said Shivansh. Jahnvi Dubey said she was motivated to pursue IAS after witnessing students being honoured year after year. I am grateful to CMS for giving us such a quality education and inspiring moments. Similarly, Mrinal Kumar said that whatever I am today is due to CMS.

CMS Manager Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said on this occasion that CMS strives to keep the aim of its students high. Principal of CMS Kanpur Road Campus, Dr Vineeta Kamran said that the entire CMS family is proud of this unprecedented success.
