CMS creates a better future for all children by maximising
their opportunities through quality education and initiatives for unity and development.
Deepak Mishra, alumnus of CMS Station Road Campus, qualified the coveted IAS examination 2018 with All India Rank 511, bringing laurels to the institution. A meritorious student, Deepak secured 94.4% marks in ICSE (Class X) Board Examination. Deepak is an alumnus of IIT Delhi from where he graduated in 2015. Before cracking the Civil Services Examinations, he had also qualified for the prestigious Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) and served as Additional Divisional Mechanical Engineer (ADME) for two years. He was offered a job placing in CBS Techno, Japan but he stayed in India and worked for BPCL and then in Railways as an IRSME Probationer. This year, he secured the 511th rank in UPSC CSE 2018 examination and is hopeful of getting the UP cadre in IAS.
Deepak’s kindly eyes and gentle temperament belie the toughness and resolute determination that outlines his character. Having seen the dark side of life and experienced some of its sorrows, he has developed an understanding and a determination to do away with the poverty and adverse circumstances which have been a part of his early life. Deepak says, "I joined CMS during my foundation years of life and it inspired me to achieve and compete for greater heights. The quality of peers here is unmatched and the healthy competition always motivated me to work harder and harder."
Deepak’s father is a school teacher. His mother, a housewife, died of cancer in 2011. His is a middle class family from a village in Siwan district of Bihar. Deepak gives credit for his success to his parents and teachers. He is thankful to CMS for providing him the best facilities for a proper study environment and also for instilling in him values like honesty, self-respect, courage and a "Never-say die" attitude. He wants to become a great achiever by providing facilities to the underprivileged and less fortunate children, He says that hard work and consistent effort are the key to success. Success is sweeter when it is self-earned.
In his words, "I would advise current CMS pupils to engage in healthy competition and aspire for a better tomorrow. Not to pressurize yourself but always look forward to utilize your time. The clock will not turn back. It's the time which is most important and going to decide your future in whatever field you want to go."

Parth Ratra of Class VII won the first prize and Bisman Singh of Class IX won the third prize in ASISC UP/UK Regent Lawn Tennis tournament in boys under-14 category. Parth also got selected for National level of this competition.
Vivan of Class VII and Nupur Chandra and Shambhavi of Class IX won gold medals in ASISC Zonal Karate championship and were selected for State level Karate championship.
Chirag Agarwal of class XI participated in 62nd UP State Sub Junior Open Aquatic Championship held in Lucknow and secured 3rd place among Boys in 3m Spring Board.
Aryan Pandey scored 4 points of possible 7 rounds and secured 20th place on the merit list under Open category of Commonwealth Chess championship held at The Leela Ambience Hotel, New Delhi.
At the inter-campus Badminton Tournament organised by CMS QAID, Viyomini Singh won the second prize in junior girls; Viyomini Singh and Priyanshi Gola won the second prize in junior girls doubles; Aman Yadav won the second prize in senior boys; Prateek Yadav won the second prize in junior boys and Avinash Singh and Prateek Yadav won the second prize in junior boys doubles.
Rishabh Agarwal of Class V secured 4th rank in All India and 1st rank in school in the 11th All India Maths and Science Talent Examination. He got 146th rank in international and 43rd in zonal rank in Uttar Pradesh.
Vivan of Class VII won the gold medal, Nupur Chandra of Class IX won silver medal and Shambhavi of Class IX won the bronze medal in karate championship. Vivan also got selected for National level Karate championship to be held in Jhansi.
Vaishnavi won the second prize in javelin throw and shotput and first prize in discus throw in the Council’s National Sports and Games held at the Zonal level.
Labdhi Jain of Nursery class won the first prize in Mango festival organised by Uttar Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation.
Rewant Dubey of Class X won gold medal and was selected for the Nationals to represent UP State in the National level Boxing championship. He earlier won silver medal at the District Boxing Championship.
Ananya Tewari of Class IV won the first prize in 25m in butterfly, third prize in 25m freestyle, third prize in 25m backstroke and Riddima Tewari of Class VI won the third prize in 25m backstroke at the inter-campus Swimming competition organised by CMS Rajajipuram Campus I.
Students of junior section participated in a video conference on Peace & Reconciliation with Universal School, Mumbai.
At ASISC Sports Meet, Vailbhav Asthana won the bronze medal in shotput and Arish Pratap Singh won the bronze medal in discus throw.
P. S. Akshat Iyer won two gold medals (State Topper Rank 1 and International Champion Rank 7) in the International Society for Olympiad (ISFO). Many other gold, silver and bronze medals were also won.
Zoya Khan of Class X won the first consolation prize in inter-campus Calendar making competition 2019.
World Paper Bag Day was celebrated in all sections at the campus on 9 July. Students enjoyed making paper bags and decorating them creatively. They were told about the importance of using paper bags and other biodegradable materials and the hazards of using plastic and polythene.
On 20 July, students took out an awareness march to educate the people in community about different kinds of communicable diseases, their spread and prevention.
The 4th death anniversary of the former President of India and great scientist, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, was commemorated with the screening of a film based on his life. His famous and motivational sayings were discussed in the classrooms and the students enrolled in the robotic classes exhibited their robotic pieces.
CMS Classrooms are fitted with new tables and chairs for students giving them a shining new look. Children feel happy and motivated sitting on their new chairs and desks designed according to the specific age-groups. Uptil now, Classes Montessori to Class X were furnished with the new chairs and tables. This year, Classes XI and XII have also been upgraded and the whole campus has acquired a new look coupled with harmony and pleasantness that is conducive to the all-round growth and development of students.
