Investiture Ceremony was held at the campus on 20th August. Juniors' Council headed by Aryan Saxena and Aditi Bhakuni and Primary Council led by Abhishek Gupta and Anushka Mishra took oath to perform their responsibilities with sincerity.
Sankalp Saxena of Class IV secured the second rank in WIZ National Inter-school competition organized by Wiz National Spell Bee.
Arjita Srivastava, Mahrukh Zehra, Mohammad Saad, Raghuvendra Singh, Lakshita Srivastava, Aryman Tiwari and Aryaman Dubey won prizes in different contests at inter-school Commerce Festival, Dr Rajaram Jaipuria BIZATHON 2019.
At ASISC competitions held throughout the month, Kruiti Rai, Deerghakshi Dutt Bajpai, Abhyudaya Singh, Taru Meshram won prizes in Zonal Shooting competition; Amogh Shakti Raman, Arav Gupta, Navya Raj, Aradhya Agarwal, Akshaya Mehra and Malaika Rizvi won prizes in Zonal Table Tennis competition; Simran Naresh, Sanvi, Astha, Vedanshi Joshi, Madhav Mani Tiwari, Ishaan Gupta, Sikanda Pandey, Maithali Tandon, Shreya Yadav, Shubham Krishna, Alok Singh and Arush Yadav won prizes in Zonal Badminton competition.
Vaishnavi Singh, Ananya Singh, Aakshita Singh, Kanishka Valecha, Avika Mishra, Suyash Gupta, Anshika Yadav, Arushi Pandey and Devanshi Pandey won prizes in different categories at ASISC Regional Skating competition. The campus team also won Zone A under-14 and 17 girls category championship.
Many students of the campus were felicitated for having scored highest points in the online assessment conducted by Delstasteps.com. The high scorers were, Ayush Yadav, Ananya, Vernika of Class III; Shubh Singh, Anubhav Tewari, Saumya P. Singh of Class IV; Vidushi Acharya, Abhimanyu, Siddharth of Class V; Divyam Gutpa, Satwick Rao and Khushi Verma of Class VI, Mann Kumar, Rudra Mishra and Priyanshi Yadav of Class VII and Bhavneesh Kaur, Anupam Gautam and Utkarsh Singh of Class VIII.
Harsh Singh of Class VII, Agastya Singh of Class VI and Akshat Yadav of Class IV won gold medals; Vaibhav Pandey and Ayan Ali of Class IV, Yuvraj Yadav of Class III won silver medals, and Sashwin and Shikhar of Class IV won the bronze medal in Kumite at the inter-campus Karate competition (Boys) organized at CMS Kanpur Road Campus. At this event, Harsh Singh also won the gold and Vaibhav Pandey and Agastya Singh won the bronze medals in the Kata event.
Archit Jain won bronze medals in high jump and in 100m race at the Zonal level Athletic Meet organized by CISCE. The team of junior girls comprising Bhumi Singh, Mansi Singh, Epshita and Sanskriti Jaiswal won the bronze medal in 4x400m relay race.
In order to inculcate the virtue of gratefulness in young minds, the project 'Thank You' was undertaken by the campus. The students were told to make Thank You cards out of old wedding invitation cards for their mothers and list all those things for which they feel grateful to their mothers.
The campus strives to instill in young minds the idea that we receive to give and share. In this regard, the campus joined hands with the Robinhood Army which is a zero funds organization that works to get surplus food from the community to serve the less fortunate people. On 15th August the students joined Robinhood Army in its mega drive to collect rice, flour and pulses from various sections of the society to help the less fortunate.
The JYEP animators along with JYEP co-ordinators visited Shri Ram Udyogik Anathalaya in Aliganj on the occasion of Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan. The students contributed notebooks, crayons, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, rakhis and chocolates which were given to the children living in the orphanage.
The campus team won the third prize in group singing competition in sub junior category at Bal Utsav organized by the Search Foundation.
The juniors' group won the second prize in group dance competition at Bal Utsav organized by the Search Foundation.
Abhijeet Sharma, Akshat Saxena, Shashwat Sahu and Dev Pratap Sikera won prizes in ASISC Regional State Level Taekwondo Championship. Akshat Saxena got selected for the Nationals to be held in Ahmedabad. Arjita Srivastava won the second prize in ASISC UP & UK Zonal level inter-school debate competition.
19th-24th August was celebrated in the pre-primary section as the Week of Empathy. Reading competition, craft activities anti bullying campaign, etc were held.
Sakshi Sachan won the first prize in ASISC Zonal level declamation competition organized by St. Teresa's College.
Abhijeet Singh of Class XII won the bronze medal in U-19 as well as got selected for the Nationals in ASISC Regional Lawn Tennis competition. Siddharth Kumar and Prakhar Goel of Class IX won the bronze medal in U-17.
At the South Africa International Mathematics Olympiad held in Durban, South Africa, Ishaan won the bronze medal while Aryashi and Adhyatm Agnihotri won merit certificates.
Arnav Singh Chauhan, Nandini Sharma, Astha Singh, Aryan Dubey, Prakhar Goel and Ayush Jaiwal won prizes at Entente organized by La Martiniere Girls College.
Devika Sapra and Vandita Gupta won the Best Team award at Frank Anthony Memorial All Indian Inter School Debate. Devika was also awarded the Best Speaker in ICSE category. In senior category, Adwant Mishra and Sakshi Sachan won the runner up prize and Adwant won the runner up speaker award.
Students in senior section won the third prize in Cogitation (debate) and first consolation prize in Covert Intentions (paper sculpture) in junior category at 8th Odyssey International organised by CMS Rajajipuram Campus I.
Shreepriya Tiwari and Sanskriti Gautam of Class XI participated in Unique quiz contest and won the first prize. They received Veer Bhadra Mishra trophy and certificate of appreciation at a grand ceremony organised along with an environment awareness event. The event was organized on 23rd August at U.P. Urdu Academy. It was an innovative quiz with the theme Blue - the colour of survival organised by a voluntary organization Swayam Siddha to create awareness about the environment.
Tanya Srivastava of Class III got an golden opportunity to act as a lead in Bhojpuri film 'Chirariya Na Bole.' Tanya was also invited to be honoured on a very popular and biggest kids festival season-4 at Sangeet Natak Academy, Gomti Nagar.
Arin Kumar of Class IX received certificate of appreciation and gift for being the champion of the month (June) in mind wars. It is an online quiz taken by students by downloading Zee5 app.
Students of Class XI led by Shinjni Kacker presented Nukkad Natak 'Pani ki Chitthi' at the environment awareness event on the theme Blue (the colour of survival) organised by Swayam Siddha, a voluntary organization.
Aaryan Pandey of Class VI secured first position in U-14 category in Avijay Open Chess Tournament organised by Avijay Charitable Trust and conducted by Avijay Chess Academy.
Adarsh Yadav and Akhilesh Patel of Class IX won the first and third prize respectively in poster making competition organised by the surgery department of Trauma Centre King George's Medical University. Topic of the poster was road safety and trauma prevention.
Independence Day was celebrated at the campus with great enthusiasm. Hindi elocution, declamation and singing contests were held along with the cultural programme.
Students of the campus performed street play 'Jal Hai To Kal Hai' at the NBRI to create awareness amongst the masses regarding acute water crisis.
The campus teamed up with volunteer organization, 'Robinhood Army' in spreading happiness at the Baalu Adda slum area. Approximately 20kg of rice and 20 kg of pulses were collected for distribution there.
Inter-house just-a-minute, declamation, speech, group elocution, dance, Hindi recitation and singing competitions were held at the campus during Independence Day celebrations. Darshil Sagar, Rayyan Haider, Mohsin Ali Khan, Abdul Raziq, Sukaina Fatima, Zahra Fatima, Aeliya Ali, Zubia Fareed and Mohd. Afzal were among the winners of various contests.
