CMS students collect Rs. 4.5 lakh for charity Amount distributed equally between two NGOs
Students of various CMS campuses collectively contributed a sum of Rs. 4.5 lakh which was donated as charity equally to SPARC - India an NGO for the welfare of the disabled, and to the Animal Ashram, an NGO for helping beleaguered street animals. The collection made by CMS students for each charity on voluntary basis, was presented to the representatives from the two charity organisations by CMS President, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon. The CMS students are helping these two organisations in their noble cause for the past many years.
Apoorv wins prize of Rs five lakh and free tour to 'NASA'
Apoorv Mishra, of Class VI, CMS, Rajajipuram Campus I, became the proud winner of five lakh rupees and a free tour to American Space Agency 'NASA' by securing the first prize at the national round of Discovery School Super League Competition. The final round of this national level contest, organized jointly by Discovery Network Channel and educational App Byju's, was recently held in Mumbai.
Anamika gets Rs. 50,000 Dr Ambedkar National Merit Award
Anamika Dohrey of CMS Rajajipuram Campus I has been awarded Dr Ambedkar National Merit Award for her academic excellence by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India. Anamika has been awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- for her outstanding performance in the ISC examination. Dr Ambedkar National Merit Awards are given to meritorious students of schedule caste and schedule tribe for remarkable performance in State/Central Education Boards/Councils exams every year.
