Aliganj Campus I

A plantation drive was conducted by the Bhoomi Initiative at the Ram Manohar Lohia Park by the students of the campus. The team in collaboration with the Lucknow branch of the NGO 'Fridays for Future' planted over 20 trees and would be planting 10 trees weekly with the support of the NGO.

The Bhoomi Initiative is an initiative started by the students of CMS Aliganj Campus I, founded by Ananya Choudhary and Narayan Srivastava, managed by Adyanshi Singh.

The initiative carries out social and environmental awareness campaigns, plantation and various upcycling and recycling activities.

Pre-primary students of the campus took out a procession on Energy Conservation Day wherein they took a pledge for saving the energy resources for future use.

Aliganj Campus II

Nehal Katiyar and Anushka Pandey, under the team leader, Mr Dominic Mendonsa, won the first prize in Terrarium contest at International Environment Olympiad, IEO 2019 organised by CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II.

Asharfabad Campus

Zoya Ali of Class VIII won the first prize in the event 'Artsy Lens' at Confluence 2019

An interactive session by 'Mindler' with the students of Class IX and X was conducted to guide them about career options.

Sister Sheetal of St. Xavier's School, Chaibasa, Jharkhand blessed the students with her motivational words at a special assembly organised at the campus.

Lohri celebration in primary section

The painting of Mohd. Saad Khan of Class IX got selected for the ICS Calendar 2020, as a 'Month Page.' The theme of the International Painting Competition 2019 was "Poetry in Images; Your Favourite Poem in Art" which received 475 paintings from 100 schools from across India, Middle East, Bangladesh and South Asia.

At the National level Spell Bee Competition, Ishita Shukla of Class IX received the 14th rank and Satyarth Pandey of Class VIII was ranked 39th among 300 participants nationally.

Abheer Mehrotra of 2016 batch qualified the CAT exam 2019 with 99.65 percentile. He was a brilliant student in the FitJee section, currently pursuing B.Tech. from Petroleum University, Dehradun.

The new football turf and newly renovated senior section library were inaugurated on 10th January by Mr Mohd Adil, alumnus of CMS and Mr India Senior National Bodybuilding Championship 2015, International Taekwondo Champion 2013 and 2014. The newly laid 50mm turf is ideal for football with rubberised cushion. The state of the art library with centrally air conditioned, modern furniture, latest books provides an added feature to the school’s infrastructure.

Rajajipuram Campus I

Sushma Bharadwaj and Agrimyash Vishwakarma won the first and second prize respectively in a painting and drawing competition organised by the Indian Council for Agricultural Research on the theme Empowerment of Women.

Rajajipuram Campus II

Anushka Singh (XII) and Shyam Agarwal (XI) won the second prize in GeoQuiz at Geofest International organized jointly by CMS Jopling Road & Rajajipuram Campus II.

National Flag Day was celebrated in pre-primary section on 7 December. Children came dressed up in the three colours of the Indian flag. Importance of the day was explained to the students. Patriotic songs were also sung to make this day memorable.

Rajendra Nagar Campus I

Vishesh Kesarwani of Class IV won a trophy in Spell Bee National level competition held at Coimbatore. He secured 48th rank among 300 participants from all over India.

The student participants of Compudon received medals and certificates from the Principal, Mrs Nisha Pandey in presence of Mr Mohd. Faran Shamsi, IT Training Co-ordinator, CMS.

Kanpur Road Campus

The campus team won the first prize in team round at the inter-campus Mathematics Olympiad organised by CMS QAID. At this event, Amirs and Tanmay won the second and third prize respectively in individual round.

Cambridge Section

12 students from CMS Cambridge participated in COMPUDON JUNIOR, India’s first ever Official Championship on MS Office Skills, which tests students’ skill level on MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint through an online test based on real-time, hands on, skill-based exam. Out of these, 11 students got selected for the India Finals. The selected students were: Vangmay Sachan, Arjun Babbar, Tavisha Kalakoti, Sara Enayati, Tejas Srivastava, Kanishk Singh, Murtaza Syed, Saransh Baghel, Sai Upadhyay, Kalash Agarwal and Ritu Shukla.

Tejas Srivastava and VangmaySachan qualified for the National Celebrated Participant List (Top 50 National Rank) and National Merit Participant List (Top 51-100 National Rank) respectively.

All the finalists will be awarded a medal and a certificate whereas Tejas and Vangmay will get additional recognition in the form of Celebrated/Merit list participant medal and certificate in addition to a 2 hours group session with Mr Howard Berg (Global Expert and Guinness World Record holder for being fastest reader on the planet) on tips to double/ triple their reading speed and developing stellar memory.

Students performed brilliantly in the ISFO (International Society for Olympiads) examinations. Out of the 38 entries in English, Maths, Science and General Knowledge, 15 students qualified for the next round (11 in English, 3 in Science and 1 in G.K.). The best performance was by Anahita Singh of Class X, who was ranked first in the State. Sara Enayati of Class VIII got State Rank 13, Tavisha Kalakoti of the same class got State Rank 16 and Rimjhim Jaiswal of Class IX came 19th in the State.

Station Road Campus

Amritesh Mishra and Rishabh Jaiswal of Class XI bagged the second prize in 'Brain-O-Thon Quiz' at Confluence International organized by CMS Indira Nagar Campus. At the same event, Ayushi Yadav of Class XI secured the second prize in World Parliament paper presentation. Ayushi presented her case very emphatically on the topic 'Chance made us neighbours and Heart made us friends.'

In an essay, drawing and painting competition organized on Agriculture Education Day celebration at ICAR-NBFGR, Lucknow, Sachin Srivastava of Class XI won the second prize,

Yuvraj Singh and Ayushi Nag (XI) attended the seminar on Children's Rights based on Environment conducted by UNICEF and NBT.

At the Inter-House Debate competition, Sneha Arora of Class XI bagged the first prize For the Motion and Dhruv Gupta won the first prize Against the Motion.

Insha Khan of Class VI won the second prize and Avnika Yadav of Class IX won the third prize.

Sachin Srivastava of Class XI won the second prize in essay competition organised by National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow, to mark the 36th Foundation Day and Farm Innovators Day celebration. Insha Khan of Class VI won the prize in painting competition.
