The four-day International Youth Convention on Commerce and Economics (IYCCE-2019) organized by CMS, Station Road Campus came to a befitting end on 4 November with Bal Bharti Public School, Pitampura, New Delhi stealing the limelight and walking away with the Championship Trophy and the host team, CMS station Road winning the Runners-Up Prize. Chief Guest, Mr Pravin Kumar, Principal Chief Commissioner, Income Tax, UP (East) and DGIT (UP & Uttarakhand), gave away prizes. It may be mentioned that CMS station Road organized this four day International Youth Convention on Commerce and Economics (IYCCE-2019) at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium from 1 to 4 November 2019 in which over 500 students of Sri Lanka, Nepal, UAE and various states of India happily participated- The four day International Youth Convention was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mr Suresh Khanna, Finance Minister, UP, on 1st November at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium amidst scintillating educational-cultural programme. Competitions included Buiz-Quiz (Business quiz); Bull Vs Bear (Debate); B-Plan (Innovative Business plan); Fintoons (Financial cartoons); Com.net (Commerce subject knowledge); Corporate Conscience (Social Awareness); Sci-tools (Scientific model); Sound of Silence (Choreography); Entrepreneur Expression (Corporate speeches) etc. Principal of CMS Station Road Campus, Mrs Vera Hajela was the Convenor of IYCCE 2019.
Five-day International Geography Olympiad 'Geofest International-2019', was jointly organized by CMS, Jopling Road and Rajajipuram II Campuses from 15 to 19 November 2019 at CMS Kanpur Road Auditorium. The Olympiad was inaugurated on 15 November 2019 by the Chief Guest, Mr Nand Kumar Gupta 'Nandi', Cabinet Minister, Political Pension and Minority Welfare, UP. Around 500 participants from Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India presented a spectacular view of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam amidst the colourful educational-cultural items. The inaugural ceremony began with All Religion and World Peace Prayer. World Parliament was presented by CMS students in which students discussed global problems and advocated the need to protect Mother Nature. The picture of Unity in Diversity was complete as the vision of One World appeared through the cultural presentations. Events included Create Your Taste (Collage); Geotoon (Cartoon making); Geo Friendly Hands (Softboard making, model making and poster making); Geoquiz (Quiz); Geotech (Web Designing); Geotalk (Debate); Gel-o-Mime (Mime act and poem recitation); Geo Plea (Group A : Traditional Group Dance and Group B: Choreography) etc. Principal of CMS Jopling Road Campus, Mrs Shipra Upadhyay was the Convenor while Principal of CMS Rajajipuram Campus II, Ms Poonam Arora was the Co-Convenor of this Geography Olympiad.
CMS RDSO Campus organized "EXSPO-2019", a four-day International Sports Olympiad in the Convenorship of Principal, Mrs Aruna Naidu, from 19 to 22 October 2019. Chief Guest, Mr Virendra Kumar, Director General, RDSO inaugurated the Sports Olympiad graced by the inspiring presence of internationally famed sportspersons Mr V. S. Chauhan, Arjun Awardee and Iron Man of Asia; Mr Gulab Chand, Arjun Awardee and International Athlete; Mr Manoj Tamang; International Football Player; Mr Ashok Bombi; Ex-Ranji Player Mr Kamal Kant Kanaujia, Ranji player; Mr Akshdeep Nath, Captain, Ranji team and IPL Player; Mr Devendra Bhandari, International Hockey Player and Umpire; Mr Q M Siddiqui, International athlete etc., making it a truly memorable event. Approximately 500 young sportsmen from Nepal, South Africa and various parts of India showcased their sports talents in this four-day long Olympiad. The young players enthusiastically competed athletics- track and field events, badminton, karate and soccer. Hosts CMS won the championships in Badminton and Athletics, Nepal became the undisputed king of Soccer while Khalsa Inter College, Lucknow bagged the champions trophy in Karate.
