He passed ISC (Class XII) from CMS Mahanagar Campus II, with flying colours in the ISC Board Examinations. Though he comes from a middle class family, his father is an advocate and mother a government servant, he has always dreamt big and for this, he has put in a lot of hard work. In Class X, he got 90.4%marks in the aggregate and also cleared the NTSE Examination. After doing his B.Tech from IIT Kanpur in Mechanical Engineering, he worked as student intern at Ecole Polytechnic, Paris in the summer of 2007. Recognizing his skills.

But Abhishek’s calling was India and he returned home in 2009. Thereafter, he prepared for the civil services and was selected for the Indian Police Services (IPS). Though he qualified in CAT and was selected for admission to IIM Ahmedabad, he did not join it and instead joined the Indian Police Service.

As a police officer, he won the Manipur Cup for Law at the National Police Academy, for scoring the highest marks in Law during training. He was awarded the prestigious Chief Minister’s Meritorious Service Medal in 2018 by the Chief Minister of U.P. Hon’ble Shri Yogi Adityanath.

In Abhishek’s words, “CMS education has given me self-confidence to sit in competitive exams and excel. It has not only given me my formal education but has also developed my personality as an individual giving me an international perspective of happenings around me.”

Advising his juniors, he says, “My advice is that CMS education is one of the finest that they can get in the country. They should make full use of all the facilities given to them, take part in so many events organized by various branches of CMS. They should consider their teachers as their guardians, respect them and heed their advice.”
