Trinity Examiner with the winners

Following students were awarded certificates in the Examination conducted by Trinity College London: Abhijeet Parwani was awarded merit certificate in Initial Guitar; Shivika Rastogi was awarded merit certificate in Initial Keyboard; Aaryan Saxena was awarded merit certificate (Grade I) in Plectrum Guitar; Aaditya Gupta was awarded merit certificate (Grade I) in Electronic Keyboard and Ranesh Maurya (VIII) was awarded merit certificate (Grade III) in Plectrum Guitar. The Examiner was Ms Anne Clark, MA in Mtpp, BMus (Hons), LGSM (TD), LLCM from Lancaster University.


Six students of junior section namely, Afreen Fatima, Afreen, Angel, Mridul Kashyap and Darshita participated in a video conference with the students of Dr C.L. Mehta Shishya School, Chennai.


Isha Maurya, Sanskar Sagar Shukla, Mujtaba Khan and Ghazi Haider Zaida qualified for and qualified the competition organised by Delta step.


Ananya Rastogi of Class IX won the bronze medal in the national level Vovinam Championship in below 40kg category at Bhugeshwari indoor stadium, Guwahati. Vovinam is a Vietamese martial art form practiced with and without weapons. Prior to this, Anaya had won silver medal at the district level event held in Lucknow.


Aradhya Dixit of Class III won the first prize in story telling competition organized by Tri Shakti - Smart Kids grooming classes.


The campus team won the championship in the girls category and runner up in boys category at Yoga Meet organized by CMS Rajajipuram Campus I.


18 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals were won at CISCE UP & UK Zonal level yoga competition in various categories. Ananya Verma, Syed Wafa Sadiq, Navita Bharti, Samriddhi, Hussain Mehdi, Umme Farua, Shreshtha, Insha Hussain were the prize winners.


Mohd. Adnan Siddiqui, Wafa Sadiq, Mohd Sufiyan, Aviral Verma, Ali Mehziyar, Hussain Mehandi, Divansh Kumar, Mohd Abbas, Musa Baig, Pranav Khanna, Navita Bharti, Chitranshi Sahu, Astha Srivastava, Fiza Rizvi won prizes in different categories at CISCE Zonal Taekwondo Championship.


The campus team won 5 gold, 13 silver and 5 bronze medals in ASISC Zonal Swimming Meet organized by La Martiniere Girls College.

RDSO Campus

Shreya Kakkar of Class XI was presented Women Empower Fellowship for writing impressive review on the Women Empower Humanities 2019 Seminar held in Lucknow. The seminar was organised by an NGO, Panthalassa in association with Denison University in USA, Ohio, at G.D Goenka. The students whose review got selected would be published in a journal.


Divyam Gupta of Class VI and Ayushman of Class IX were awarded certificates for securing the 7th and 147th position respectively in DeltaStep.Com ‘Most Persevering Student’ for the month of June 2019. Over 1,00,000 students had participated in the competition.

Srishti of Class VII was declared as the city topper in Lucknow for securing National level rank in NSTSE.

Jopling Road Campus

Students of Classes III, IV, V & VI witnessed a magic show on 12 July at Ravindralaya, Charbagh. The magician, O.P. Sharma, showed his impressive skills to all. Students were swayed by the magical trick displayed by him. He had the children laugh and gasp in wonder at his tricks.

Van Mahotsav was celebrated on 15 July wherein the importance of trees was shared through sensitive slogans. Students spoke about the Panchvati trees i.e. Banyan, Peepal, Neem, Amla, Ashok. Their medicinal benefits were shared with all the students. These trees were also planted by the principal, teachers and the students with a vision to have a Panchvati grove in the campus. The students also spoke about importance of trees in every religion and took a pledge to plant more trees and save the existing ones.

CMS students plant trees with Japanese technique 'Miyawaki'

CMS, Gomti Nagar Campus II students planted trees in front of their campus with the Japanese technique 'Miyawaki', spreading the message to keep the earth lush green. The students of this campus were bubbling with enthusiasm while planting trees and they happily planted trees and watered them. The CMS Director of Strategy, Mr Roshan Gandhi was the Chief Guest who encouraged the students to become more and more concerned for protecting environment. Senior Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus, Ms Manjit Batra; Environmentalist and Material Researcher, Ms Shubhi Sachan and several teachers of the school were also present there on this occasion. Miyawaki technique helps trees grow up naturally faster and yields fruits in 3-4 years only instead of stipulated 8 - 10 years of time. This technique will help environment become more eco-friendly.

Mahanagar Campus

Aaryan Pandey won the second prize in 14th Lucknow District U-11 Open Chess Championship 2019 organised by Lucknow Chess Academy, Indira Nagar, Lucknow. He also won the first prize in U-16 category 26th Shivani Cup Sunday Chess Tournament held at Shivani Public School, under the agesis of Lucknow District Chess Association and first prize in UP State U-11 Fide rated Open Chess Tournament held at St.Joshesh School under the agesis of Maharajganj District Chess Association and UP State Chess Association. Besides, he scored 5.5/9-12 at KIIT International Chess Festival 2019 organised by All Odisha Chess Association and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) and won the third prize in 2nd Goa International Open Chess Tournament held at SAG's Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherji Indoor stadium, Teligao, Goa.

Tanya Srivastava of Class III was winner in the state level dance competition organised by Max Little Icon amongst 3500 participants.


Arnav Srivastava of Class I participated in the 7th District Tennis Tournament and won the event U-6 category organised by Professional Tennis Academy.

Akhand Yaduvanshi and Shubhendu Pratap Singh won the second prize in the College level Online App Development Competition 2019 organized by University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES).

Sushant Bose of Class VI won the first prize in a science quiz competition conducted by Regional Science City, Lucknow.



Apoorv Mishra was awarded a certificate of achievement (zonal excellence) for securing 26th zonal rank in SOF National Science Olympiad and 50th Zonal Rank in SOF International Mathematics Olympiad.

Ms Komal Valecha bagged the fourth prize in the 'Make Your Mark' contest organised by Stones to Milestones for the WOW Connect Learning app. Her entry was chosen from 200 entries by a reading expert with 30 years of teaching experience on the basis of creative expressions, deep learning and understanding of WOW concepts.


Students of the campus won Gold, Silver and Bronze medals and certificates in International Society for International Society for Olympiads (ISFO). P.S Akshat Iyer won two gold medals (State Topper Rank 1) and (International Champion Rank 7).

Model United Nations (MUN-2019) held at CMS

CMS Gomti Nagar I organized a 2-day Model United Nations (MUN-2019) in collaboration with Educis Consulting Pvt. Ltd. on 27 and 28 July 2019, at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Chief Guest, Dr D P Srivastava, former Ambassador of India for Iran and Libya inaugurated the conference amidst huge applaud. CMS Founders Dr Jagdish Gandhi and Dr Bharti Gandhi, CMS Director of Strategy, Mr Roshan Gandhi, Managing Director, Educis, Mr Vansh Nathani, CMS Principals etc. were present. Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar I, Mrs Abha Anant welcomed the dignitaries and 600 participants of various schools and colleges of India at the opening ceremony. Mr Roshan Gandhi, Director of Strategy, CMS, said that MUN is an excellent way for all-round development of students as it helps in enhancement of skills of leadership and research.
