Ten students of the campus participated in the drawing and painting competition on the topic 'Impact of Air Pollution and Control Measures' organised by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change on the occasion of World Environment Day 2019. Anaika Dixit and Anushree Gupta of Class VII in the age group 8-12 years bagged the second and third prize respectively. Aradhya Dixit of Class IX bagged the third prize in the 13 and above age group. Participation certificates were awarded to all the students.
Van Mahotsav was celebrated in pre-primary section to create awareness about importance of trees. A special skit in the assembly and 'Hug a Tree' drive was taken in which little future protectors of earth hugged trees and took a pledge to protect them. The day ended with a song on every lips 'Aao Pedh Lagayein' and a passion in the heart to make our mother earth green.
Ritesh Yadav of Class IX was amongst the top students in the yearly and monthly competition for March, April and June organised by Delta Step Learning(P) Ltd. More than 1,00,000 students from across the country had participated in the competition.
Anirudh Satapathy of Class XII, humanities batch, played a role in Bollywood film named 'Why Cheat India' starring Emran Hashmi and directed by Soumik Sen. The film based on the malpractices in education system was filmed at various locations in Lucknow.
Varnika Srivastava of Nursery class won the first prize in a modelling competition organized by Surya Event and Film Production House. Gauri Bisht of Class IV and Karki Bisht of Class II won the second prize in dance competition 'Exploring the Inner Talent' organized by FBB India's Fashion Hub, Lucknow.
At the Inter Campus Swimming Meet-2019 organised by Rajajipuram-I, Ummul Zehra of Class IV won second prize in 25m butterfly stroke and Aradhya Amit of Class IV won the second prize in 25m backstroke. Also, Nityansh Sahai of Class IV and Haider Zaheer of Class III were awarded consolation prize in 25m freestyle swimming.
Mr Anjan attended the Masters Training for history and civics in New Delhi and Ms Arshi attended the workshop on Biology in Kolkata.
Abhijeet Sharma, Shashwat Sahu, Dev Pratap Sekera and Akshat Saxena won the gold medal in different categories at CISCE taekwondo Championship organised by Christ Church College. At this competition, raj Bhardwaj, Achintya Sharma and Suchismita Sharma won silver medals and Sakshi Rao, Aamogh Sharma and Vrija Singh won bronze medals.
Ms Anandita Ghosh was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by Stones 2 Milestones in recognition of her outstanding performance in the teacher contest 'Make Your Mark on WOW Connect' held in May 2019.
Paawni Srivastava of Class VII won the second prize in U-13 category at Lucknow District Badminton Championship 2019 organized by Lucknow Badminton Association.
Nishant Dixit of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus got his marks in Physics increased by 2 in re-checking, thus scoring the percentage of 89.75 in the ISC Board Examination 2019. CMS thus now has a total of 2941 students securing above 90% marks in ISC and ICSE Exams 2019.
Students of Class II were introduced to the concept of air. They were provided with inflated balloons and were asked to blow air in it to show that air has weight and occupies space. Then they were asked to write their moments they cherished in their summer vacations and how they feel today in school.
The sub-junior group of the campus won the first prize at the 4th inter-school Yoga Meet organized by CMS Rajajipuram Campus I.
