Mujtaba Ali, Mahvish Mujib, Mohammad Adeeb, Muhammad Muttasif, Farhan Haider Rizvi, Aradhya Dixit, Addhayan Rastogi and M.D. Saim Sultan won prizes in different competitions at Entente organized by La Martiniere Girls College, Lucknow.
Girls of the campus won the overall championship in all categories - individual, pair and free flow at the ASISC Zonal Yoga Meet 2018. In junior boys, Hussain Mehndi (II) won the second prize, Divyansh Yadav (VI) won silver medal in individual category, while Wafa Sadiq (VII) won the second prize and Bramahnsh Nigam (VI) won the silver medal in pair category.

CEE North team based in Lucknow visited the campus and conducted a workshop for primary teachers. They were given an overview of the International Eco-School Progamme.
World Lion Day was celebrated at the campus on 10 August. Many activities like paper folding , mask making, image colouring and storytelling were conducted in the primary section while in junior section a group discussion and quiz was held on lion.
Child Prodigy, Youngest Archeologist of India, Arsh Ali was invited to share his research paper on the influence of Ashokan Buddhism and its connection to the Hellenistic World with the students of Classes XI and XII. Everyone was impressed with his remarkable knowledge.
Aditya Rai and Soumya Singh, two talented Class X students of CMS, Gomti Nagar Campus I brought laurels to institution by winning the Best Team award in an Inter-school Debate Competition organized under the aegis of Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate (ASISC), UP & Uttarakhand at zonal level. Aditya Rai also won the title of Best Speaker in the same competition.

At ASISC Zonal Table Tennis 2018, Vaishnavi won the gold medal in junior singles; Pratyush won the silver medal in senior doubles and Pradyot won the bronze medal in senior category. At ASISC Zonal Athletic Meet 2018, a total of 9 gold, 3 Silver and one bronze medals were won. The winners were, Medhanjali, Anjali, Ayuesh Mahaseth, Medhanjay, Vidushi and Shreesh.
