CMS creates a better future for all children by maximising
their opportunities through quality education and initiatives for unity and development.
Various activities were held at the campus on 7 April to mark World Health Day. Students were told about the importance of healthy eating habits. The primary students were shown the journey of bread from farm to plate.
Thirty three students of the campus participated in Hindi Olympiad organised by Mahatma Gandhi Hindi Rashtrabasha Prabhat Sanstha. Ayush Rastogi, Yamini Mishra and Mohini Raj got gold medals and Teesha Gupta was the overall winner at the state level. All the students were awarded certificates of appreciation. Twesha Garg of Class VI won the second prize in dance contest 'Ultimate Talent Showdown' held at Fun Mall, Gomti Nagar on 2 April. She was presented the second prize in this dance contest. Children from 5 cities competed in this musical extravaganza.
Dev Vrat Singh, Shikhar Dixit, Aarsh Pandey, Nikhil Choudhary, Himani Singh, Suryansh Pal, Mayank Patel, Priyanshu Kumar and Mohd. Faizan of Class IX were honoured for being the toppers of Resonance Scholarship exam 2018.
Malik Hammad Faisal, Shyam Agarwal and Prasoon Patel of Class X obtained highest marks in Lucknow in the National Standard Examination for Junior Science organised by Indian Association of Physics Teachers (NSEJS). Malik Hammad Faisal has also cleared MAS (Minimum Admissible School).
Ananya Srivastava of Class VI won the first prize in a dance contest organised by the Kayasth Mahasabha in Jankipuram Extension, Lucknow.
Children in the age group 1-15 were administered the vaccine against Japanese Encephalitis (JE), a mosquito borne disease with high fatality.
A special workshop was conducted at the campus on World Health Day by Mr. Jaideep Dhondiyal and Ms. Bindhu Anu from the Hope Foundation in junior and primary assembly. They informed students about the method of Healthy handwashing and its benefits.
Mr and Mrs Diana Schaffter, authors of a children's story-book "The Amazing Animal Race" visited the campus to give a talk to the students. They motivated the children to bring passion in whatever they decide to do. They also encouraged the children to be life-long learners and be open to new ideas and not hesitate to share good ideas with others.
Aadi Malhotra of Class VII won the first prize in Mindkraft extempore competition organized by Allen House School. He was presented a cash prize of Rs. 3,100/- for this achievement.
Udhav Tiwari (II), Shashwat Chowdhary (II), Shaurya Agarwal and Aarush Bhatt (V) achieved first rank and were awarded gold medals for their participation in SOF Science Olympiad. Vedansh Mishra and Kartikeya Chaurasia were respectively awarded the silver and bronze medal.
Fire Evacuation Drill was held at the campus on 13 April.
Aadya Srivastava of pre-primary section is a child wonder who has been winning prizes for dance performances from the age of 2.5 years. Her latest achievement is a special mention prize at an event for children of the age group 13-16 years, Hercynians, The Rhythm of Heart organized at IMRT Gomti Nagar. Aadya was the youngest entrant at the age of 5.
To sensitize students towards the environment and its conservation, a special assembly was held at the campus on Chipko Movement. The Chipko movement was a forest conservation movement where people clung onto trees to prevent them from being cut.

Different hobby classes are being run at the campus for students in all sections. The 12 Hobby Clubs include, Literary & Dramatics, Music, Sports, Vedic Maths, Dance, Yoga/Aerobics, Fine Arts, Multimedia & programming, Needle & thread, Nature Club, Science Club and Cookery.
Students at the campus are being taught about the Dignity of Labour through various activities. Students of primary section devote at least 15 minutes in keeping the classrooms and surroundings clean.
Mr Nikunj, a corporate lawyer working with the largest law firm in India, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, addressed the students of junior section. The purpose of the visit was to appraise the students about Model United Nations (MUN), a gateway to United Nations.
Ms Yogesh Dhingra, Pedagogy Trainer & Advisor (Cambridge Section, CMS) conducted a session on "IGCSE and Beyond" at Cambridge Section, CMS Gomti Nagar II on 26-27 March and also training on 24 April 2018.
