Many prizes were won in the table tennis tournament at Spring Fest organised by Springdale School, Gomti Nagar in the memory of Mr B. S. Sood. Navya Raj of Class V, Vaishnavi Raj and Kislaya Tripathi Class VIII won gold medals in team category. In individual girls category, Navya Raj won the gold medal and in senior girls category, Vaishnavi Raj won the silver medal.
The students participated in the marathon 'Run for Safety' beginning from the Chief Minister's official residence, organised by the Transport Deptt, U.P. as a part of the 29th Road Safety Week.
As an Action project carried out by the members of the Eco club to promote the spirit of SDG12, the school joined hands with a volunteer based organisation called the Robin Hood Army that works to get surplus food from restaurants and give it to the less fortunate people. We tried to create a difference in our own small way by reaching out to the slum area children in a locality called ‘Baalu Adda.’ By reducing wastage we can try to eliminate hunger.
Mayank Singh of Class XII was awarded by the National Standard Examination in Physics NESP2017-18 for having been placed among the top 10 out of 19 candidates. The Examination was conducted at 1509 centres in all with a total of 58765 candidates enrolled.
Students of the campus took the initiative to spread awareness about World Red Cross Red Crescent Day, celebrated on 8 May, which is the birth anniversary of Henry Dunant, the founder of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the recipient of the first Nobel Peace Prize.
An inter house quiz competition was organised in the Junior Section on 5 May. The wit and humour of the quiz masters enthused one and all. Unity House was the winner.
Attisha Saxena of Class IX rocked the silver screen during a dance competition organised by singer Anurag Shah and JPS Talent Hub at Sangeet Natya Academy, Gomti Nagar on 26 April 2018. In this state level competition Attisha won the first position in senior category and was awarded a certificate, a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 5000/-.
Joy Das of CMS Kanpur Road Campus hogged the limelight in the AITA Talent Championship at Allahabad by winning doubles final in under-14 category. This tournament was organised by Tennis Development Welfare Society at Allahabad Gymkhana Club.
The school team won the 3rd P C Batta National Cricket Tournament organised by Kasiga School Dehradun from 22 April to 2 May 2018. Shivansh Dixit of Class XII was declared the player of the tournament.
Jyotiraditya Pandey and Arnav Mishra of Class IX were awarded the gold medal by the Humming Bird Education (P) Ltd. for securing sixth position in the National Level Hindi Olympiad. Tanya Chaudhary also won a gold medal in this olympiad.
Rakshit Gupta achieved Rank 1 with 99.92 percentile in the Indian Intelligence Test organised by the Jagran group. More than 50 thousand students participated from across India in this test. Rakshit was awarded a scholarship of Rs.24000/-.
Aditi Giri of Class III won the second prize in District Roller Skating Championship at Seth Anand Ram Jaipuria College, Alambagh, Lucknow.
Viresh Srivastava of Class VI won second prize at Inter School Chess Tournament 2018 organized by Lucknow District Chess Association at Shivani Public School, LDA Colony.
A drawing competition was organised at the campus by UP State Transport Department on Road Safety. The students of class VIII and VII participated in it. Kartikeya Agnihotri got the trophy and the certificate for the first prize. Shush Raj and Niyati Asthana stood second and third respectively.
Students of classes VII and VIII participated in Health Mela and decorated their stall on the topic Exam Stress. They also presented a skit and showed a power point presentation. The guests who visited the stall were involved in many stress busting games and were given book marks, study skill booklets as take away. The campus team won the consolation prize among seventeen other schools present at the event.
