Syed Ali writes book on programming language 'Swift'

Syed Ali Ahmed, an outstanding Class XI student of CMS Kanpur Road Campus has written a book 'Hello World! An Introduction in Programming in Swift' based on programming language 'Swift'. Syed Ali Ahmed's book is available on www.amazon.com. This very young boy has also developed a number of apps. For his expertise in programming, the famous company 'Apple' has invited him to its Research and Development Headquarter in Bengaluru for development and training of an app based upon IOS. The app 'O Plus Launcher' developed by Syed Ali for android devices is very successful with its over 20,000 active users per month at google play store. Presently he is helping the UP Police in dealing with cyber crime.

CMS students awarded cash prizes in Smart Kid GK Olympiad

CMS Aliganj Campus I students, Homa Siddiqui (VIII) and Karnika Pandey (VI) were awarded cash prizes of ₹ 10,000/- each and Shyam Agarwal (IX) was awarded a cash prize of ₹ 7,500/- for displaying their exemplary knowledge, latest information of India and world, argumentative skills and talent, in Smart Kid General Knowledge Olympiad organised by Silver Zone Foundation, New Delhi.

CMS Inter House Taekwondo Competition

CMS Chowk Campus organized inter-house taekwondo competition wherein approximately 80 students of all the four houses viz Love, Peace, Unity and Hope, enthusiastically participated. Latest and very good techniques and physical skills of young players shown during the contest captivated all. Mohd. Adnan Siddiqui in boys' category and Aafreen Fatima in girls' category grabbed the best player title. Hope House and Love House bagged the championship in boys' and girls' category respectively.

Aadi bags first prize in Mind Craft Competition

Aadi Malhotra, a Class VI student of CMS, Station Road Campus bagged the first prize in an Inter-school Mind Craft (Extempore) Competition winning a cash prize of Rs. 3100/- for his outstanding performance. The competition was organized at Allenhouse Public School in which students of noted schools of Lucknow participated.

Swastika Gupta grabs first prize in Hindi Writing Competition

Swastika Gupta (Class V) of CMS Station Road Campus won the first prize of Hindi Writing Competition organized by Bhartiya Bhasha Pratishthapan Rashtriya Parishad with the purpose to make Hindi interesting for the students and also hone their knowledge of Hindi.

CMS Inter-House Badminton Competition

CMS Mahanagar Campus organized inter-house badminton competition. In the Junior Boys (singles), Aman Yadav of Hope House beat Ishak of Unity House by 21-18, 21-15 while in the Senior boys (singles), Ayush Sharma of Love House beat Aman Yadav of Unity House by 21-16, 21-12. In the Junior Boys (doubles), Aman Yadav and Ismael of Hope house defeated Ishak and Suryansh of Unity House with 21-11, 21-9. In the Senior Boys (doubles), Ayush Sharma and Aman of Love House defeated the duo of Aryan Jain and Yashang by 21-12 and 21-8. In the Senior girls (singles), Sameeksha Singh of Peace House defeated Akriti of Unity House by 21-6, 21-9.

CMS Inter House Skating Championship

CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus II organized inter-house skating competition in which 60 students of Love House, Peace House, Unity House and Hope House enthusiastically participated. At the competition, Peace House emerged overall champion securing maximum points in different categories of the event. Akshat Verma of Hope House, Darsh Sonkar and Shashwat Tiwari of Love House and Ishan Sharma of Peace House showed excellent play.



'Open Day' celebrations

On 28 April, the tiny-tots of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus III celebrated the 'Open Day' with enthusiasm and gaiety at the beautifully decorated premises of the school having different activities, and displayed their talents and creativity through self-made craft items, doll world, we can fly, fun with experiements, visual arts, mechanics, safety first, fashion trends, arts and colours etc. Students were more than eager to describe their artwork on display in English, thus demonstrating a strong command over the language. Parents did not held themselves back from praising and applauding their wards. On this occasion, several interesting contests for mothers were also held.

CMS students take out 'Kalash Yatra' for environment protection and pollution free atmosphere

The students of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus II took out a 'Kalash Yatra' to mark the Earth Day and create awareness among the people for protecting environment and keep the atmosphere free of pollutants, in Rajendra Nagar area under the leadership of CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi; Director of Strategy, CMS, Mr Roshan Gandhi; Headmistress of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus II, Mrs Jyotsana Atul and the Principal of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus III, Mrs Jayashree Krishnan with the banner-poster to sensitize people to conserve environment, plan for green revolution and stop pollution. CMS students were shouting slogans 'Dharti Bachao, Jeevan Bachao, Jeevan Ko Khushhaal Banao', 'Say No to Plastic Bags', 'Join the Green Revolution' etc. for awakening people and themselves also to pledge for protecting environment. The masses hugely supported CMS students for their efforts.

Students of various CMS campuses collectively contributed a sum of Rs 4 lakh which was donated as charity equally to SPARC India, an NGO for the welfare of disabled, and to the Animal Ashram, an NGO for helping beleaguered street animals. The collection made by CMS students for each charity on voluntary basis, was presented to the representatives from the two charity organisations by CMS Founder-Director Dr Bharti Gandhi.

New Parents Evening and National Presentation of CISV Mini Camp of Gomti Nagar Campus

CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I organised 'New Parents Evening and National Presentation of CISV Mini Camp' at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium on 6 May 2018. The Chief Guest, Mrs Rita Bahuguna Joshi, Minister, Women and Family Welfare, UP, inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp of learning while Mr Rajshekhar, IAS, graced the occasion as Special Guest of Honour. The programme commenced with a 'School Prayer' followed by All Religion and World Peace Prayer, students' presentation of the World Parliament and presentations of scintillating educational-cultural items made parents sway to their tunes and loud clapping for children's outstanding talents. Children represented various countries in garbs thereof singing and dancing like them, showcasing glimpse of a happy world family.

CMS Inter House Volleyball Championship

CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I organized inter-house volleyball competition for senior category boys in which 50 students of Love House, Peace House, Unity House and Hope House enthusiastically participated. Final match of this contest was played between Unity House and Peace House. Both the teams showed exciting game with nice and fast moves but Unity House defeated Peace House by 25-23, 25-18 grabbing the championship.

CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus II organized inter-house chess championship wherein approximately 50 students of all the four houses viz Love, Peace, Unity and Hope enthusiastically participated. Shivansh Sharma and Shreshtha Singh became the best players in boys' and girls' category respectively. In under eight year boys' category, Arush Rastogi of Love House became first, in under ten year boys' category and Akshat Srivastava of Hope House in under 12 year boys' category. Shivansh Sharma of Hope House be-came first. In girls' under eight years and Siddhi Agarwal of Unity House in under ten year. Shreshtha Singh of Hope House became first.

New Parents Day and of CISV Mini Camp by CMS Indira Nagar

CMS Indira Nagar Campus organised the 'New Parents Day and National Presentation of CISV Mini Camp' at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium on 29 April 2018. Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia, Mayor of Lucknow, was the Chief Guest on this occasion.The function began with the All Religion and World Peace Prayer followed by an array of educational-cultural presentations. The central theme of the items was World Unity and World Peace demonstrating the joy of living in a world of harmony, peace and divinity. Students also showcased folk dances in traditional attire leaving the audience tapping to their tunes. A detailed information was given to the audience through multimedia presentation about the aims and objectives of CISV Mini Camp. At the CISV Mini Camp, children stayed together for two days to learn lessons of World Unity, World Peace and Global Brotherhood through games and activities. The camp concluded with 'National Presentation' ceremony.
