Meet the Jewels of our Institution, Our Principals

Ms Reena Soti, Principal, CMS Anand Nagar Campus

Ms Reena Soti has degrees of M.A. in History and B.Ed. Ms Soti joined CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I in July 2002 as a primary teacher. After proving her classroom discipline and teaching capabilities for nine years, she was promoted as the Class Coordinator in 2011 and in the same year, she also became the Coordinator of Children’s International Summer Village (CISV) Camps. In 2012, she was made the Director of the CISV Camp hosted by CMS, wherein her administrative and management skills came to the fore. The management promoted her as the Principal of CMS Anand Nagar Campus in 2013. In these 5 years, CMS Anand Nagar has reached new heights both in terms of infrastructure and educational standards under her able leadership.

Mrs Jyotsna Atul, Principal, CMS Rajendra Nagar II Campus

A post-graduate in English, Mrs Jyotsna Atul has done her B.Ed. from Pillai's College of Education and Research, Mumbai. She joined CMS Mahanagar Campus in 1997 as a Primary teacher and got promoted as the junior teacher the very next year. Thereafter, she was transferred to CMS Aliganj Campus I and very soon, in recognition of her outstanding capabilities and dedication, she was appointed as the Pre-Primary Incharge in 2001. Her administrative acumen soon found favour with the school management and she was entrusted with the responsibility to head the junior branch, CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus II in 2017. Her campus has progressed by leaps and bounds under her dynamic leadership.

Mrs Trapti Dwivedi, Principal, CMS Asharfabad Campus

Mrs Trapti Dwivedi joined CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I in 1995 as a Computer teacher and has a MCA degree and a B.Ed. as well. Her engaging personality and teaching style impressed her seniors and in 2002, she was promoted as the Coordinator of Class IX, the post she held till 2011. Thereafter, she was elevated to the post of Headmistress at the same campus. Her effective management and administrative skills led to her appointment as the Principal of CMS Asharfabad Campus in 2017. Under her dynamic leadership, the school has witnessed several infrastructural and academic improvements and the campus, which was earlier only upto Class VIII, has now become a ICSE affiliated campus.

Mrs Shipra Upadhyay, Principal, CMS Rajajipuram Campus II

Having degrees in M.A., B.Ed., Diploma in Education & Development from Sundaes University, Columbia, and Post-graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, Mrs Shipra Upadhyay joined CMS as Editor in 1992 at the Head Office. In this capacity, she was involved in the making of the first issue of the CMS Bulletin. Mrs Upadhyay left the job for a few years for marriage and joined again at CMS Aliganj Campus Iin 2008 as teacher of junior and senior classes. She got promoted as a senior teacher of English subject in 2011. She was also entrusted with responsibility of running the Junior Youth Empowerment Programmes and organizing Model United Nations in her campus. Taking note of her extraordinary administrative qualities, the management promoted as the Principal of CMS Rajajipuram Campus II in July 2018. Here, in a short while, she has proved to be an efficient administrator and a caring guide for the students and teachers.

Mrs Jayashree Krishnan, Principal, CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus III

Mrs Jayshree Krishnan has degrees in M.Com and B.Ed and joined CMS Kanpur Road Campus in 1997 as ISC subject teacher. In the very next year, she was appointed the Commerce Subject Expert by the Council for Indian School Examinations and was made part of the team responsible for setting ICSE curriculum for schools all over the country, the work, she continued till 2012. Witnessing her single-minded dedication to the cause of education and her administrative capabilities during her stint as cultural coordinator and assembly incharge, the management promoted her as the Principal of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus III in August 2013. Since becoming Principal, she has introduced several infrastructural developments and technical pilot projects in the campus. She also organizes the International Festival of Computer Science, COFAS with great expertise.

Ms Roli Tripathi, Principal, CMS Jopling Road Campus

A trained Post Graduate in English from Lucknow University with a Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication, Mrs Roli Tripathi's journey at CMS began in 1993 as a Primary section teacher at CMS RDSO Campus. After a break of few years that she took for furthering her qualifications, she joined CMS again as an ISC English teacher at CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I, from where she was shifted to Gomti Nagar Campus I in 2011. An excellent educator, Mrs Tripathi has been declared the Best English Teacher of CMS. She has also been the coordinator of Model United Nations at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I. She took charge as the Principal of CMS Jopling Road Campus in July 2018. Under her guidance, the Campus organized the UN International Day of Tolerance with great zeal and enthusiasm.

Mrs Shivani Singh, Principal, CMS Aliganj Campus II

Mrs Shivani Singh joined CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I in 2006 as a Kindergarten teacher. Well qualified with M.A. and B.Ed. degrees, her leadership skills and flair for innovation soon led to her promoted as the Kindergarten Co-ordinator, and later, as the Pre-Primary Incharge. She got promoted as the Principal of CMS Aliganj Campus II in the year 2015, and since then, the campus has acquired a new shape and character, attracting students from far and near. Besides improving the image of the campus, the very versatile Principal has taken up several social causes and is promoting literacy in the surrounding slum areas.

Mrs Sushama Rajkumar, Coordinator, Cambridge Section

Mrs Sushama Rajkumar has a Masters Degree in Arts along with a degree inB.Ed. She joined CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I in 2004 as a primary section teacher. In view of her engaging personality, teaching style and effective discipline skills, she was shifted to the newly established second campus of CMS Gomti Nagar in 2011.In 2013, she was promoted as the In-charge of Gomti Nagar Campus II. Mrs Rajkumar's proficiency at the work made her the Headmistress of this campus in the very next year, and she was found as the best choice by the management for coordinator-ship, when CMS opened a Cambridge Section in 2016.
