Ambika Mehrotra is one of the shining stars of CMS who has reached the top by dint of hard work and untiring effort. She studied from Montessori to Class XII at CMS and is well-grounded in the values of World Unity and World Peace. In ICSE, she got 90% marks while in ISC, she got 93.25% marks. Ambika’s mother, Mrs Alpana Mehrotra, is an experienced and accomplished music teacher at CMS Indira Nagar Campus while her father is an advocate by profession. Her parents have always inspired her to think big and serve society with zeal and commitment.
After her B.A. (Hons) in History from Indraprastha College, New Delhi, where she won many awards and honours, she proceeded to pursue her LL.B from Shia P. G. College, University of Lucknow, securing 69.59% (First division). Here again, won six gold medals and one bronze medal. Thereafter, she did her LL.M. from Lucknow University securing 69.91% marks. The most out standing accomplishment was her selection in UPPCS (J) Exam on 39th rank. CMS has played a significant role in shaping her personality. It taught her to work hard and try until she succeeded. Moreover, the felicitation functions and honouring of meritorious students gave her an added incentive to work her way toward success and stand in the league of successful students. In her words, “The inspiring speeches of Gandhi Sir always inspired me to do something in life where I could serve the society and thus it impacted greatly in opting for judiciary as my career as I would be able to dispense justice in the best possible way I can.”

Three talented students of CMS. Station Road Campus namely, Aarush Bhatt of Class V, Vansh Agarwal of Class VIII and Shaurya Agarwal Class IV showed extraordinary mathematical prowess winning the gold medal at the International Mathematics Olympiad organized under the aegis of Science Olympiad Foundation, Gurgaon, Haryana bringing laurels for the institution.
Garima Mishra, a Class IX student of CMS, Gomti Nagar Campus I has been awarded by the Science Olympiad Foundation, New Delhi, a scholarship of ₹ 5000/-. She has been selected for the 'Girl Child Scholarship Scheme' for higher studies. 300 girls from 5000 schools across India were picked up for this prestigious scholarship among which Garima Mishra of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I finds a place.
The Junior Youth Empowerment Programme attracted an additional 400 students going to Class IX, who volunteered to serve as animators for three years, into its circle of over 1000 animators. The students from nine campuses, namely, Aliganj I, Gomti Nagar I, Gomti Nagar II, Indira Nagar, Kanpur Road, Mahanagar, Rajendra Nagar I, Rajajipuram I and Station Road participated in the training programme from 9/10 March 2018 soon after the examinations. The resolve, enthusiasm, and active participation of these students during the study sessions, consultation and planning, cooperative games, arts and crafts and the memorization of prayers and quotations was exemplary.
