{"id":151,"date":"2024-09-16T19:12:16","date_gmt":"2024-09-16T13:42:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cmseducation.org\/matheletics\/?p=151"},"modified":"2024-09-17T12:14:54","modified_gmt":"2024-09-17T06:44:54","slug":"mathematicum-le-modele","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cmseducation.org\/matheletics\/mathematicum-le-modele\/","title":{"rendered":"Mathematicum Le Modele"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Category<\/strong>: Group D &#8211; Model Making<\/p>\n<p>Unleash your creativity and apply your mathematical knowledge in <strong>Mathematicum Le Modele<\/strong>, a model-making competition that challenges students to combine their skills in mathematics and design.<\/p>\n<h4>Event Overview<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Time<\/strong>: 2 hours<\/li>\n<li>This event encourages students to create mathematical models that reflect their understanding and application of mathematical concepts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Event Rules:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Team Composition<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>Schools are allowed to send <strong>one team per school<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Each team should consist of <strong>two members<\/strong> from <strong>Classes 9th and 10th<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Preparation<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>Teams must prepare a few parts of their model <strong>in advance<\/strong> and complete the final assembly on the competition day in front of the judges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Model Assembly<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>Participants will be given <strong>one hour<\/strong> to assemble their models.<\/li>\n<li>Following the assembly, each team will have <strong>5 minutes<\/strong> to present their model to the judges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Materials Provided<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>The organizers will provide a display tray and a plug-in for each team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Creativity<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>Teams are encouraged to give their models an <strong>original and creative name<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Topic Assignment<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>Topics will be sent to the teams once they have registered online.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Judges\u2019 Decision<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>The judges&#8217; decision will be final and binding for all participants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Judging Criteria:<\/h4>\n<p>Participants will be evaluated based on the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Relevance and Creativity<\/strong> \u2013 15 points<\/li>\n<li><strong>Originality<\/strong> \u2013 10 points<\/li>\n<li><strong>Overall Presentation<\/strong> \u2013 10 points<\/li>\n<li><strong>Application of the Model<\/strong> \u2013 15 points<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Total<\/strong>: 50 points<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>This event is an exciting way to express your love for mathematics through hands-on model creation.
