Event Overview
- Time: 2 hours
- This event encourages students to create mathematical models that reflect their understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
Event Rules:
- Team Composition:
- Schools are allowed to send one team per school.
- Each team should consist of two members from Classes 9th and 10th.
- Preparation:
- Teams must prepare a few parts of their model in advance and complete the final assembly on the competition day in front of the judges.
- Model Assembly:
- Participants will be given one hour to assemble their models.
- Following the assembly, each team will have 5 minutes to present their model to the judges.
- Materials Provided:
- The organizers will provide a display tray and a plug-in for each team.
- Creativity:
- Teams are encouraged to give their models an original and creative name.
- Topic Assignment:
- Topics will be sent to the teams once they have registered online.
- Judges’ Decision:
- The judges’ decision will be final and binding for all participants.
Judging Criteria:
Participants will be evaluated based on the following:
- Relevance and Creativity – 15 points
- Originality – 10 points
- Overall Presentation – 10 points
- Application of the Model – 15 points
