Invitation
From the Conveyer
Dear Principals,
I am writing to extend a warm invitation to you and your school to participate in our upcoming event, Matheletics, which is the 1st International Competition for Math ᴫrates. The competition is scheduled to take place from 30th November, 2023 to 3rd December, 2023 at the CMS WUCC auditorium, and we would be honoured to have your school participate.
The competition is designed to challenge and engage students in the exciting world of Mathematics. We believe that Mental Maths is an essential skill for students to develop, and we are committed to fostering a love for Maths among our students.
Our competition is open to all students from grades 3 to 10 and we have designed it to be both fun and challenging. The competition will consist of several rounds of increasing difficulty and participants will be required to solve various kinds of fun mathematical puzzles and participate in activities involving the use of Mathematics and logic. Unlike traditional olympiads, the focus of the event is on hands-on Mathematics and logical reasoning, rather than simply solving mathematical problems. The competition aims to encourage students to develop their mental mathematics skills, while also providing an opportunity for schools to come together and share their experiences. We believe that by working together, we can make a significant impact on our students’ academic achievements in a fun and engaging way.
To register for the competition, simply fill out the registration form that is attached to this letter and return it to us by [registration deadline]. We would appreciate it if you could also include a list of the names of the students who will be participating from your school.
We hope that you will accept our invitation to participate in this exciting event and look forward to seeing you and your students at the competition.

Nature’s design of the universe, with its numbers, geometry, patterns, and dimensions, underscores the pervasiveness of mathematics. Matheletics aims to enhance students’ understanding of this fascinating subject.
Mathematics is crucial in shaping a child’s personality, building problem-solving skills, and fostering reasoning and analysis. It helps students see real-life connections and think critically.
Matheletics goes beyond developing number skills; it aims to nurture intelligent, resourceful scholars. This contest brings like-minded students together, promoting knowledge exchange and bridging gaps. I encourage students to seize this opportunity at Matheletics 2023.
Congratulations to Mrs. Anupama Checker, Principal of CMS Rajajipuram Campus II and Convenor of Matheletics, and her team for organizing this unique event. Best of luck to all participants!

Globalization and diverse needs demand competitive skills. Healthy competition inspires greater achievement by challenging us to use our skills creatively. We aim to equip our students for this ever-changing world.
Maths competitions require a unique style of thinking, encouraging students to connect theory with application, often surprising themselves with their success. These competitions enhance interest in mathematics and promote group work outside the classroom.
"MATHEMATICS is not about numbers, equations, computations, and algorithms: it is about UNDERSTANDING." - William Paul Thurston
Learning math can be enjoyable with activities and games. Congratulations to the Principal and staff of Rajajipuram Campus II, City Montessori School, for encouraging students to explore the world of mathematics.
Competitions like Number Ninjas, Confabulors, Mathsketeers, Mathematicum Le Modele, and Mathdoku foster clarity and the right attitude.
As we prepare for this event, I am filled with gratitude for witnessing this unique occasion.
