Through active involvement in acts of service, junior youth are encouraged to contribute to the well-being of others, positively impact their communities, and inspire meaningful change wherever they reside.<\/p>\n<p>In today\u2019s world, where materialism often takes precedence, service is frequently overlooked. Many view service as a grand endeavor requiring extensive resources. However, true service is a selfless act of support, provided within one\u2019s own capacity. It includes activities aimed at fulfilling basic needs and empowering individuals to take charge of their lives, thereby participating in the transformation of society.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Service Projects within JYEP<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Through JYEP, the <strong>City Montessori School (CMS)<\/strong> emphasizes the importance of service by initiating various projects across its campuses. Junior youth from <strong>classes 6, 7, and 8<\/strong> actively engage in teaching moral education to primary students and assist in the Pre-Primary sections. A significant initiative, the \u201c<strong>Each One, Teach One<\/strong>\u201d campaign, involves junior youth in combating illiteracy by teaching literacy skills to those in need. This project encourages youth to understand that education is a shared responsibility and that everyone should contribute to eliminating illiteracy.<\/p>\n<p>Many CMS students dedicate their summer vacations to this cause, demonstrating their commitment to service and social change. These efforts reflect the essence of the JYEP\u2014empowering young individuals to take the lead in uplifting their communities.<\/p>\n<p><button>See all Service projects here<\/button><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Animator\u2019s Role in JYEP<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Many animators who guide junior youth have recognized the transformative power of the JYEP and have taken the initiative to start junior youth groups in their own neighborhoods.
