(ROBO RACE) JUNIOR LEVEL<\/strong><\/h3>\n

With the advent of the internet, advanced computing, and artificial intelligence, technology entered a new phase with the emergence of Robotics. Picture households with friendly robots whirring around, performing chores, and making life easier. The dream of personal robots has become a reality! As technology advanced, robots began to operate autonomously. Drones soared through the skies, exploring uncharted territories, while self-driving cars hit the roads. Imagine a world where robots navigated through bustling cities, delivering packages and helping with everyday tasks. The lines between science fiction and reality blurred further.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, we stand at the cusp of an exciting future, where robots are designed to work alongside humans. Collaborative robots, or cobots, are now commonplace in industries, enhancing productivity while ensuring safety. Visualise factories where humans and robots communicate seamlessly, complementing each other’s strengths. The story of robotics is a testament to human creativity and ambition-a journey from ancient myths to a future where robots are integral to our daily lives. Mathematics plays a crucial role in the field of robotics, providing the foundational tools and frameworks necessary for design, control, and operation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mathematics is the backbone of robotics, enabling the modelling, analysis, and control of robotic systems. It helps engineers and researchers develop sophisticated robots capable of performing complex tasks in a variety of environments. As robotics continues to advance, the role of mathematics will only become more critical, driving innovation and expanding the capabilities of robots. Thus, our Competition, entitled Robo Grand Prix (Robo Race), is designed to keep young minds abreast with the latest trends in the field of mathematics and to showcase their technological skills in the upcoming field of Robotics.<\/span><\/p>\n

RULES:<\/strong>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Objective:-<\/strong> Construct a robot, either wired or wireless, with specific dimensions, capable of manual operation and navigating through all turns of the track. The robot that completes the task in the shortest time will be declared the winner.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. Track Specifications:<\/strong>
      \n<\/span>The track will be made of a smooth surface with multiple turns, inclines, and obstacles.
      \nThe width of the track will be approximately 30-40 cm.
      \nThe track may include hurdles like ramps, bridges, and speed breakers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Robot Specifications:<\/strong>
        \n<\/span>The maximum size allowed is 30 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm.
        \nThe weight of the robot should not exceed 3 kg.
        \nOnly wired or wireless robots are permitted.
        \nPower supply should not exceed 12V.<\/li>\n
      2. Competition Rules:<\/strong>
        \n<\/span>The race is time-based. The robot that finishes the race in the shortest time wins.
        \nTouching or manually adjusting the robot during the race is not allowed (except in cases of authorised resets).
        \nEach team gets two trials; the best timing will be considered.
        \n3 Participants from the Junior Level will represent each school.<\/li>\n
      3. Disqualification Criteria:<\/strong>
        \n<\/span>The robot goes off the track for more than 5 seconds.
        \nManually touching the robot without permission.
