The cry to \u201cmake only one\u2019s own country great again\u201d echoes across borders, often at the expense of empathy, cooperation and understanding. Intolerance towards differing worldviews and beliefs is no longer an isolated occurrence but a global concern, threatening the very fabric of peaceful co-existence. In this fragile context, interfaith harmony becomes not just desirable \u2013 but essential.<\/p>\n
Achieving harmony in multi-religious societies requires concerted efforts to bridge gaps, address stereotypes, and confront identity-driven divisions. The ancient Indian tradition of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam (the whole earth is one family) is the light that shows the way. The theme for this year\u2019s 10th International Interfaith Conference, \u201cTogether in Faith, to Shape a Better World,\u201d focuses on the power of unity across faiths to address global challenges. It seeks to create a shared vision for peace and prosperity by emphasizing interfaith dialogue as a transformative tool for fostering acceptance, coexistence, and mutual respect.
