Despite advancements in globalization, technology, and information accessibility, humanity finds itself grappling with intensified conflicts. The very factors that should foster harmony often exacerbate divisions.\u200b<\/p>\n<p>Globalization has swiftly transformed social, economic, and cultural structures, disrupting traditional value systems. This sense of dislocation, coupled with growing social injustices and economic disparities, fuels movements rooted in identity politics worldwide. These movements offer a return to traditional collective identities based on religion, race, nationality, or caste, providing a semblance of stability in a rapidly changing world. They promise power through collective identity, glorifying the past and instilling a sense of moral superiority against an imagined &#8220;other.&#8221;\u200b<\/p>\n<p>This &#8220;other&#8221; is often depicted as unclean and morally inferior, with relentless propaganda\u2014particularly on social media\u2014reinforcing these prejudices. Overcoming such prejudice is humanity&#8217;s paramount challenge.<\/p>\n<p>International Interfaith Conference aims to explore the critical role of interfaith relations in overcoming prejudice in our multi-religious society. By strengthening social cohesion and dismantling imaginary barriers, we seek to engage in meaningful dialogue with academics, religious leaders, media, government officials, and non-governmental organizations.<\/p>\n<p>Our discussions focus on four key aspects of interfaith relations:\u200b<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Religion and Peace<\/b>: Examining how religious teachings can promote peace and harmony.<\/li>\n<li><b>The Role of Religious Institutions in Promoting Social and Economic Development<\/b>: Understanding how faith-based organizations can contribute to societal growth.<\/li>\n<li><b>The Importance of Interfaith Dialogue<\/b>: Highlighting the necessity of open communication between different religious communities.<\/li>\n<li><b>Empowering Youth as Agents of Religious Harmony<\/b>: Encouraging young people to champion interfaith understanding and cooperation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In today&#8217;s interconnected world, achieving global peace seems increasingly complex.
