Contest Details:
- Category: Junior Category – Class VIII
- Theme: Design a cutting-edge rocket incorporating advanced propulsion, energy efficiency, safety features, and payload capabilities.
- Rules:
- Each team will consist of 2 participants from Class VIII dressed in white attire.
- Teams will have 90 minutes to assemble their rocket model.
- Participants must research current advancements in space technology, lunar exploration, and rocketry.
- Students can use materials like cardboard, clay, 3D printing, electronics, and other craft supplies.
- Teams will present their models to a panel of judges, explaining their design features, functions, and benefits.
Judging Criteria:
- Innovation: How creative and forward-thinking is the design?
- Feasibility: Is the model based on current scientific knowledge and technological trends?
- Functionality: Does the model demonstrate working elements related to space exploration or rocketry?
- Presentation: How effectively do the students communicate their concept to the judges?
- Future Vision: How well do the students predict the relevance of their design by 2030?
