Contest Details:

  • Category: Junior Category – Class VIII
  • Theme: Design a cutting-edge rocket incorporating advanced propulsion, energy efficiency, safety features, and payload capabilities.
  • Rules:
    • Each team will consist of 2 participants from Class VIII dressed in white attire.
    • Teams will have 90 minutes to assemble their rocket model.
    • Participants must research current advancements in space technology, lunar exploration, and rocketry.
    • Students can use materials like cardboard, clay, 3D printing, electronics, and other craft supplies.
    • Teams will present their models to a panel of judges, explaining their design features, functions, and benefits.

Judging Criteria:

  • Innovation: How creative and forward-thinking is the design?
  • Feasibility: Is the model based on current scientific knowledge and technological trends?
  • Functionality: Does the model demonstrate working elements related to space exploration or rocketry?
  • Presentation: How effectively do the students communicate their concept to the judges?
