In this competition, participants are invited to showcase their interpretation of tradition and culture through various artistic forms of expression. This performance is an opportunity to celebrate cultural diversity through instrumental music, costumes, and movement.
Performance Guidelines
- Theme: The performance must reflect cultural expression in its many artistic forms, with participants representing their chosen tradition and culture through their music, costumes, and overall presentation.
- Music: The music for the performance must be instrumental only, with no lyrics allowed. Participants may choose to play an instrument themselves, and a synthesizer or piano will be provided if requested.
- Costumes: The costumes worn by participants should represent the culture or tradition they are showcasing, adding authenticity and depth to their performance.
Time Limit
Participants will have 5 minutes for their performance, including stage setup. Time management is crucial for a smooth and impactful presentation.
Group Category
This competition is open to Group A participants and offers a platform for showcasing traditional art forms and cultural expressions through a unique blend of music and performance.
Judging Criteria
Participants will be judged on the following criteria, with a total of 25 marks available:
- Costume and Props – 5 marks
- Rhythm – 5 marks
- Expression – 5 marks
- Synchronization – 5 marks
- Overall Presentation – 5 marks
The judges will evaluate how well the performance captures the essence of the chosen culture through costume, music, and expression, and how seamlessly all elements are synchronized for a cohesive presentation.
