To propagate the Quality Circle Philosophy amongst the students world wide CMS hosted the first International Convention of Students\u2019 Quality Control Circles (ICSQCC) in 1997.<\/h3>\n

1st ICSQCC\u2019 1997<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\n

To inculcate interest among the students the organisers of ICSQCC\u201997 introduced many streams like Paper Presentation, Circle Presentation, Collage, Debate, Poster and Slogan Making, Skit Presentation and Quality Quiz. The students, delegates participated in each stream with great enthusiasm and vigour.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

2nd ICSQCC\u2019 1999<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\n

The 2nd ICSQCC was again held at CMS in 1999 and proved to be a landmark in the history of QCC movement. It strongly underlined the need to empower the students so that they could find solutions to their problems, develop analytical skills and channelise their creative potentials in order to meet the challenges of the new millennium.<\/p>\n

After the success of the 2nd ICSQCC 99, Mauritius took the host flag for organising the 3rd ICSQCC under the umbrella of the International Productivity Council (IPC) and City Montessori School, Lucknow, India.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

3rd ICSQCC\u2019 2000, MAURITIUS<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n
\n

The event provided an excellent opportunity to meet each other for exchanging experiences and ideas and establishing communication links for mutual benefit in bringing about quality improvement. Incidentally, the Ministry of Education has made SQCs\u2019 compulsory in all government aided schools in Mauritius.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

4th ICSQCC\u2019 2001, INDIA<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

\n

During the year 2001, the fourth ICSQCC was organised by CMS with the participation of 2500 delegates representing 14 countries from all around the world.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

5th ICSQCC\u2019 2002, Kentucky, USA<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\n

The Fifth International Convention On Students\u2019 Quality Control Circles, was organised by Scott County Schools at Kentucky, USA, during June, 2002 with CMS as a supporting organisation. The Mayor of Georgetown, USA, Mr. Everette Varney honoured the founder manager of CMS, Mr. Jagdish Gandhi by presenting him with the \u201cKey to the City of Georgetown\u201d, during the 5th International Convention On Students\u2019 Quality Control Circles and acknowledged him as a \u201ctrue visionary and that his light has helped many children and educators to see the way for continuous improvement\u201d. The convention was indeed the outcome of the meticulous planning and the dedicated efforts of team which must have spent several months and days to make it a grand success. It was an extremely rewarding and enriching experience for all the participants.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Again the Sixth International Students\u2019 Quality Control Circles, was organised by CMS during 16th to 19th December, 2003 in collaboration with QCI International, USA as a supporting organisation. The theme of this convention was \u201cQCC IN ACADEMICS: Education for Head and Soul\u201d under the aegis of QCI International, USA and Quality Circle Forum of India. All the delegates praised CMS for the global belief of World Parliament for Global Peace and Unity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

7th ICSQCC\u2019 2004, DHAKA, BANGLADESH<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The 7th International Convention on Students\u2019 Quality Control Circles was successfully organised by the Bangladesh Society of Total Quality Management at Dhaka, Bangladesh from 17th to 19th December 2004 in collaboration with the City Montessori School, Lucknow. The Convention aimed at focusing the spotlight on the need for adopting QCCs as an integral part of academics. It strongly underlined the need to empower the students so that they can find solutions to their problems, develop analytical skills team work, channelise their creative potentials and develop a win-win attitude in order to meet the demands of the next millennium.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

8th ICSQCC\u2019 2005, INDIA<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

The 8th ICSQCC held during 2nd to 5th December, 2005 by CMS, was another great success. As many as 2500 delegates from 20 counties participated in this convention which included USA, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Iran, Qatar, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nigeria, U.K., Kuwait, Germany, Nepal, Bangladesh, Turkey, Philippines, Hong Kong, Switzerland and India.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

9th ICSQCC\u201d 2006, COLOMBO, SRI LANKA<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

The 9th ICSQCC was yet another landmark in the QCC movement which was organised, inspite of all odds, after the tragic incident of Tsunami which had rocked Sri Lanka completely.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The 10th International Convention On Students\u2019 Quality Control Circles (ICSQCC) was organised at City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus, Lucknow, India, from 28th November to 1st December, 2007. It was organised under the aegies of Quality Circle Forum of India and World Council For Total Quality and Excellence In Education. The 10th ICSQCC celebrated a decade of Quality and Excellence, with its very inception during the year 2007.<\/p>\n

The opening programme organised on the 28th evening, took off with a flying start on the arrival of the Chief Guest, Prof. Mary Stuart, Dy. Vice Chancellor, Kingston University, London. Over 2500 delegates participated at the convention to celebrate the DECADE OF QUALITY CIRCLES IN EDUCATION with the launch of the 1st ICSQCC way back in 1997.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
