\n<\/b>A Historic Call for a New United Nations<\/b><\/h2>\n

The third day of the 26<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup> International Conference of Chief Justices of the World (ICCJW) marked a historic moment for global governance dialogue, as distinguished dignitaries and jurists gathered in Lucknow to reflect on the future of world peace, international law and the reform of multilateral institutions. With the participation of over <\/span>156 Chief Justices, Judges, Presidents, Prime Ministers, Speakers of Parliament and eminent dignitaries from 51 countries<\/b>, the CMS Kanpur Road Auditorium transformed into a veritable epicentre of intellectual leadership and global collaboration.<\/span><\/p>\n

Grand Inauguration by Yogi Adityanath, Honourable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh<\/b><\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The day began with the formal unveiling of the globe and inauguration of the ICCJW by the <\/span>Hon\u2019ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath<\/b>, who said that this conference provides a unique platform for dialogue through which we can draw a strong baseline for justice, morality, international law, world unity, and world peace. He further emphasised that global cooperation is the only path to solving global challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n

His address built the perfect foundation for the day\u2019s discussions, inviting judicial leaders to unite for a safer, more secure world for future generations.<\/span><\/p>\n

BJP State President<\/span> Shri Bhupendra Chaudhary,<\/b> Deputy Chief Minister <\/span>Shri Brajesh Pathak,<\/b> MLC <\/span>Shri Mahendra Singh<\/b> and Indian Astronaut <\/span>Shri Shubhanshu Shukla<\/b> graced the occasion, reaffirming India\u2019s resolute commitment to advancing global justice and safeguarding humanity\u2019s common future.<\/span><\/p>\n

Parallel Sessions: Global Leaders in Deliberation<\/b><\/h2>\n

Several intellectual and enriching discussions took place across a series of parallel sessions based on the topics:<\/span>

  • Multilateralism and the Role of Middle Powers<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Combating Grand Corruption and Cybercrime<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Legal Framework for Climate and Health Crises<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Judicial Cooperation and International Dispute Resolution<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Protection of the Global Commons and Outer Space<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    These discussions focused on the urgent need for enforceable international law and collaborative global action.<\/span><\/p>\n

      \u201cJudicial independence is the foundation of justice, and every impartial decision contributes to peacebuilding.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

      He also recalled the moving words of the late Dr Jagdish Gandhi:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \u201cA divided world cannot survive \u2014 only a united world can progress without fear.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

      Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh\u2019s Call for a Reimagined UN<\/b><\/h2>\n

      Shri Rajnath Singh, the Hon’ble Defence Minister of India, inaugurated the Cultural Evening and delivered a thought-provoking appeal for reform in international governance, stating \u2013<\/span><\/p>\n

      \u201cThe world today needs a new United Nations, one that possesses new energy, a new working style, and a renewed perspective.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

      His powerful remarks resonated deeply with the audience of jurists and world leaders, reinforcing a sense of collective responsibility toward shaping a fairer international order.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      Amidst resounding applause, Shri Rajnath Singh and CMS Manager Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon honoured eminent world leaders with the prestigious ICCJW awards. The celebrated honourees included:<\/span><\/p>\n

          CMS Leadership: A Vision Rooted in Unity<\/b><\/h2>\n
