With over three decades of experience in global institutions, he has held senior positions at the World Bank as Director of the Global Indicators Group and at the World Economic Forum as Chief Economist and Director of the Global Competitiveness Programme. A graduate of Cambridge University and Duke University (PhD in Economics), Dr Lopez-Claros has authored influential works on international cooperation, including Global Governance and the Emergence of Global Institutions for the 21st Century (Cambridge University Press, 2020).
