“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference and you have to decide what kind of a difference you want to make.” — Jane Goodall
Welcome to the Eureka 2025-International Science and Environment Olympiad!
In today’s rapidly changing world, it’s imperative that we empower our future generations with the knowledge, skills, and passion to drive progress and sustainability. This event is part of our thematic campaign, “Shaping a Sustainable Future,” which aims to inspire young minds to address the pressing environmental challenges of our time. Through this campaign, we seek to foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and sustainability that will propel us toward a better future.
As we gather to celebrate scientific inquiry and environmental stewardship, we’re reminded that the future of our planet depends on the next generation’s ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and collaborate across borders. The spirit of competition that drives this fair is essential to pushing boundaries, driving innovation, and achieving excellence. It’s through healthy competition that we encourage our young participants to strive for their best, learn from their mistakes, and develop the resilience and determination needed to succeed. Yet, as we celebrate the achievements of our young scientists and environmentalists, let us also acknowledge the gravity of the challenges that demand our attention. Climate change, environmental degradation, and social inequality are just a few of the pressing issues that require immediate action.
As we look to the future with hope and optimism, let us remain mindful of the importance of collaboration, mutual respect, and a shared commitment towards creating a better world. In this spirit of collaboration at EISEO, we must continue to inspire, educate, and empower our young people to become the leaders we need. By supporting their curiosity, creativity, and passion for making a difference, we can create a brighter future.
Together, we can achieve great things and create a future that is built on the principles of sustainability, equity, and justice. After all, in the words of Henry David Thoreau- “What’s the use of a fine house if you haven’t got a tolerable planet to put it on.”
I heartily encourage you to actively participate in this endeavour to lay a strong foundation for sustainable practices to preserve the planet. We extend a special invitation to school heads and administrators to join us as Guests of Honour at the Eureka-International Science and Environment Olympiad (EISEO). Your presence will not only inspire our young participants but also provide a valuable opportunity for networking and collaboration. It would be an honour and a privilege for us to extend complimentary accommodation to Principals of all participating schools.
Let us work together to shape the minds that will shape the future!
We look forward to welcoming you!
