EISEO 2025: The Global Olympiad in Science and Environment for a Better Future

Igniting Young Minds: Shaping Tomorrow Through Science & Sustainability

In today’s world of escalating environmental challenges, the call for innovative and sustainable solutions has never been stronger. Children can be powerful agents for environmental change within their own families. Research from Nature Climate Change demonstrates that ‘students involved in environmental programs at school have a 40% higher chance of successfully persuading their households to implement sustainable changes’, including cutting down on waste and energy use.

Against this backdrop, the 13th Eureka International Science and Environment Olympiad (EISEO), hosted by CMS Anand Nagar campus, stands as a beacon for transformative learning, collaboration, and global action.

Key Agendas:

  • Connect with youth leaders and innovators from countries around the world, building bridges and sharing ideas for a resilient planet.
  • Experience world-class competitions designed to foster creativity, teamwork, and scientific problem-solving on real-world environmental problems.
  • Engage with mentors, industry experts, and academics in immersive student team-led competitions, debates, and cultural exchanges.
  • Develop future-ready skills: from ecological forecasting to science communication, and from model-making to sustainability entrepreneurship.

By joining EISEO 2025 from 14th to 17th October in Lucknow, participants will not just get the opportunity to compete in a friendly environment but also contribute to a global wave of discovery and positive change.

Hands, Minds, and Hearts for a Sustainable World

The journey at EISEO 2025 moves beyond academic competition into the realm of actionable change. We are committed to empowering our participants to become the next generation of leaders and innovators who can address real-world challenges. To achieve this, our competitions are designed to align with the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This Olympiad serves as an interactive platform for students to create innovative solutions to critical global issues, such as climate change. Participants are encouraged not only to excel but also to think critically about how their scientific and environmental projects can contribute to a more sustainable and equitable future for all.

Our events challenge students to apply their knowledge to specific global goals:

  • Inspiring Technological Innovation (SDG 9): Participants are challenged to connect their digital creations with global objectives in the Touch My Shadow multimedia competition, which explicitly requires teams to identify the SDG(s) their project incorporates.
  • Building Sustainable Communities (SDG 11): In Inventors Galore, Senior participants will design and assemble working models under the theme “Communities in Harmony: Crafting Sustainable Living Environments”, directly engaging with the challenge of creating sustainable cities and communities.
  • Promoting Responsible Consumption (SDG 12): The Eco Merchants competition directly addresses sustainability by tasking Primary students with creating advertisements for an eco-friendly product, focusing on the principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
  • Promoting Climate Action (SDG 13): The Eco-Art event advocates for environmental preservation by prompting participants to create artwork from recycled and waste materials under the theme ‘Echoes from Nature’s Diary’.

Through these focused competitions, EISEO is more than an Olympiad; it is a launchpad for future leaders. We believe that by integrating these global goals into our programme, we inspire participants to recognise their potential to effect meaningful change and contribute to a more sustainable and harmonious world.

Be part of EISEO 2025, where curiosity becomes impact and helps shape the next chapter of environmental science, driving innovation for generations to come.
