Preliminary Round Rules
- Each team must have one speaker.
- Participants must submit a 1-minute video recording in English, either supporting or opposing the topic.
- The video must include key points, evidence, and references.

- Judges will shortlist 20 speakers for the final round.
- The motion for the final round will be communicated via email to the team leader.
Final Round Rules
- Only the original participant from the preliminary round can compete.
- The debate will be held in English.
- Participants cannot read from scripts or use any external aids.
- Each speaker has two minutes. A warning bell will ring at 1:30 minutes, and the final bell at 2:00 minutes.
- Speakers must address the chair only and avoid offensive language, religious or political remarks. Any violations will lead to disqualification.
- A 20-minute rebuttal round will take place after all speeches.
- The moderator will summarize the discussion.
- In case of a tie, judges will make the final decision.
- Participants should back their arguments with scientific research, ethical principles, and factual data.
- An audience Q&A session will follow, but responses will not impact scores.
