Some evenings remind us that the bond with CMS stays strong, no matter how many years have passed.

The first edition of Sip & Spill @ CMS Chowk brought together 50+ members of the CMS family: our alumni, former teachers, the CMS Chowk leadership, and the Alumni Relations team, for an evening of laughter, memories, music, and stories from school days.

From CMS songs and Shivani Ma’am’s shayaris to countless “Remember when…?” moments, the evening brought back memories that remain close to the hearts of generations of CMSians. Our revered former teachers—Ms Shamama, Ms Cecil, Ms Sunita Sharma, Mr Awadhesh Kumar Singh, and Headmistress Dr Abha Awasthi joined the gathering and shared their own memories, making the evening even more special.

The ‘Never Have I Ever’ game added plenty of fun, with alumni happily sharing stories of their school-day mischief. The evening’s Ultimate Prankster, Mr Iftikhar Alam 😈, and Ultimate Angel, Dr Apoorva Mehrotra 😊, took home CMS hampers and some well-deserved bragging rights!

We also recognised Ms Sharad Mishra, remembered by generations of CMSians for his legendary strictness, and Mr D.K. Singh, for his enduring connection with his alumni, as two of our most fondly remembered teachers.

Although the campus tour could not take place, the evening ended on a musical note, with Ms Shivkanti Singh and Mr Akshat Awasthi leading everyone in ‘Jai Jagat Pukare Ja’ and ‘Pavitra Man Rakho’.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the effort to return to CMS Chowk and be part of this special evening. It was wonderful to see our former students and teachers together once again.

And this is only the beginning. We look forward to welcoming CMSians to the Alumni Meet at CMS Chowk on 26th December.

Until then, keep sharing your achievements, school-time memories, photographs, and anecdotes with us at alumni@cmseducation.org.
