Dussera Celebrations

Keeping the festive spirit alive, the primary Section of Kanpur Road Campus celebrated Dussera on 16th October’ 18. Students and staff celebrated the festival by participating in special assembly. Students performed dance drama depicting the life history of Lord Rama. Colourful attires of the performers were eye-catching. They were dressed up as Lord Rama, Laxman, Sita, Ravana etc.

To mark Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana and to reinforce the message that good always triumphs over evil, the effigy of Ravana was burnt. The festivities were filled with joy and enthusiasm with melodious rendition of bhajans.

Road Safety Month Celebrated

October 2018 is being celebrated nationwide as Road Safety Month. In this regard students of CMS Kanpur Road took the pledge in the morning assembly on 6th Oct 2018 to abide by all the rules and regulations released by the traffic department and hence ensuring safety.

Gandhi Jayanti Celebration

Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated on 3rd October, 2018 in the Pre Primary Section of CMS Kanpur Road Campus with great zeal and enthusiasm. Children came dressed up as Mahatma Gandhi. A Procession was taken out with slogan ‘Ahimsa Parmodharma’ and ‘Always speak truth’.

Children wore headgears of monkey and depicted the principle - Three wise monkeys of Mahatma Gandhi – “See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil”.

Thoughts and teachings of Gandhi Ji were discussed in the classes. Various art and craft activities was done by the children based on Gandhi ji’s principal.

A cleanliness drive was taken up. Children use broom and dust pan to clean the neighbourhood park to give massage “Clean India Green India”.
