Virtual JYEP Open day was organized on 30th June, 2020 at 5:00 pm

The program started with the commemoration of God and beautiful chanting. Respected Principal addressed the gathering and welcomed everyone present. Respected Mr Roshan Gandhi, Director of Strategy and Dr. Sohayl Mohajer, Head, Junior Youth Empowerment Program and Value education graced the occasion. The animators then led the program further by conducting a group discussion on the theme: Protecting the Mental Health of Youths. Concluding the discussion the school counselor gave words of guidance to the parents and how they can take care of their own wards.

Respected Mr Roshan Gandhi appreciated the animators for the meaningful and profound discussion on such a relevant topic. He addressed the gathering and was grateful to be part of such a gathering. Furthermore, a marvelous prerecorded play was presented by the animators and junior youths. The play shed light on the theme of God's confirmation through real life situations. It also consisted of few situational questions that were asked to the audience and to everyone's surprise the audience participated enthusiastically. This maintained an active interaction amongst the audience and the play. Dr. Sohayl addressed the gathering and guided as to how to work more efficiently in the program and how youths can be an integral part of the transformation of the society.

The gathering reached its conclusion and a video of the journey of the program was shown. The parents of animators gave their valuable feedback and congratulated the school for organizing such meaningful program.

City Montessori School, Anand Nagar Campus organized ‘Celebrating Success’- Online Honouring Ceremony of Pre Primary Section on 27th June, 2020 from 5:00 pm onwards.

The parents of Pre Primary section were virtually invited for the occasion.

The programme began with the display of invitation on the screen. Ms Lovey Khan, Junior and Senior Teacher welcomed the parents and staff.

The event commenced with School Prayer –I bear witness… through multimedia presentation. Followed by the School Prayer, was the ‘Campus Multimedia’ depicting the CMS Philosophy , Message from Respected Founder Manager, various classroom activities, online classes held during lockdown and ongoing virtual summer campus.

A multimedia compiled with clippings of Parents’ Feedback based on the online classes, ongoing summer camp and all the co-curricular activities held during lockdown period was presented before the gathering.

Respected Principal, Ms Reena Soti addressed the gathering and congratulated the students for their hard work during the academic session 2019-20.

The Honouring Ceremony of PlayGroup and Montessori began with the presentation wherein the slides reflecting the photographs of the students were presented and parallel to the same, the announcements were also made.

After the above honouring, a video based on glimpses of activities held during the academic session 2019-20 was presented depicting all the festivals, special days, classroom activities and online classes held during lockdown.

The last item was the Honouring Ceremony of class Nursery and K.G. and the announcements with slide presentations (like for Play Group and Montessori) were made for each student. The new admissions of Pre-Primary section were also welcomed in the last through a slide show.

Respected Principal Ms Reena Soti thanked the parents and Respected Principals of various campuses for joining the event. Around 196 parents of Pre Primary section were the part of the event.

Technology is the need of hour and City Montessori School, Anand Nagar realized that during the COVID-19 pandemic, our mothers need technical support to help and guide their wards for online classes and hence, IT Assistant Ms Ritika Shukla along with Ms Mohini Verma and Ms Taiba Riyaz took the challenge to train the campus mothers. The IT training for mothers is held every Saturday and a large number of mothers participate in the same and are benefited.

The campus is conducting online Spoken English Classes regularly for Respected Mothers every Saturday. The classes are conducted by Ms Richa Sharma, Pre-Primary Coordinator for mothers of Pre-Primary to class II and by Ms Ravinder Kaur, Primary Coordinator for mothers of classes III to X. The mothers are participating enthusiastically in the classes. The trainings are not only enhancing the knowledge but also building the confidence within.

Father’s Day was observed on 21st June, 2020. The photographs of students and their fathers were collected and complied in the form of presentation and video depicting the sentiments of the relationship was shown to the students.

World Music Day was observed on 21st June, 2020 in Pre Primary and classes I and II.

In Pre Primary section, the students shared their videos wherein they were seen enjoying and playing music with different instruments.

Photographs of famous Musicians were shown in the video and benefits of music were shared with the students.

International Day of Yoga was observed on 21st June, 2020 in Pre Primary and classes I to V. A motivational video was shared with the students and were encouraged to incorporate Yoga in their daily life. Poses of Yoga and benefits were shared with the students.

International Picnic Day was observed on 18th June, 2020 in Pre Primary section wherein children were briefed about the day and benefits of Picnic and healthy environment was shared with the students.
