Grade 6 Cambridge learners visited the historic Residency in Lucknow to explore the legacy of the Revolt of 1857. Guided by a historian, they examined key structures, analysed architectural features, and interpreted the stories preserved within the ruins, treating the site as a vital primary source of history. The visit fostered essential inquiry skills such as observation, questioning, and evidence-based interpretation, while encouraging active participation and documentation. This immersive experience deepened their understanding of India\u2019s freedom struggle and left them motivated and well-prepared to continue their historical exploration.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Grade 7 learners from the Cambridge Section participated in a four-day Sustainability Khoj at Jim Corbett, organised in collaboration with Khoj Learning Expeditions (Team Disha India), where they engaged in immersive, hands-on learning within a rich forest ecosystem. Through activities such as birdwatching, trekking, village interactions, river trails, and adventure challenges, students developed ecological awareness, inquiry skills, resilience, and teamwork while gaining insights into community\u2013nature relationships. Guided by facilitators and accompanied by their teacher, they reflected on their experiences in alignment with Cambridge learner attributes, fostering confidence, empathy, and responsibility. The expedition offered a balanced blend of environmental education, personal growth, and experiential learning, leaving students more connected to nature and better equipped as thoughtful, reflective learners.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
