We, at CMS, Anand Nagar, endeavour to provide a climate conducive to learning so as to make our children Total Quality Persons imbued with the philosophy of ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam.’ To ensure that our children become ‘World Citizens’ and a pride of the human race, we exert every effort to develop their latent capacities enriching them with human, material and spiritual education. This ‘Holistic Education’ was translated into overwhelming success of our students in academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities during the session 2017-18.
Anshika Singh Rathore, Janhvi Singh and Rhea Srivastava secured the highest marks in Computer Science in the First Comparative Examination of Class VIII. Another feather in our cap was added when our Scouts and Guides Aditi Tandon, Janhvi Singh, Prakarti Verma, Sayanth Krishna, Ayush Sharma and Pradyuman Pandey were selected for Governor’s Award after clearing the eligibility criteria for the same.
Our students have been at their creative best during the session with Art and Craft Exhibition, Face to Faith Programme, Special Assemblies, World Unity Satsang, Model Class Presentations wherein parents have been regaled with a plethora of activities ranging from elocution, rhymes, plays to using Montessori equipments deftly, experiments along with group discussions and so on. In addition, we celebrated a number of United Nations International days and festivals.
Annual Sports Days was organised at Home Guards Ground providing opportunity to students of all classes to participate enthusiastically in various sports events and drills.
The highlight of the session was the physical expansion of the campus in order to facilitate upgradation of classes.
I would like to acknowledge with gratitude, the dedication and sustained efforts of my teachers in providing an all-round education the children and the parents for their cooperation towards the same. I thank our Management for its continuous guidance and help in providing meaningful education to the children and look forward to another year of growth and development.
