Objectives
The solo singing competition seeks to unveil the beauty of individual vocal artistry, evaluating performers on their pitch, tone, technique and stage presence. It provides a stage for participants to express their unique voices, gain enriching performance experience and receive insightful feedback from esteemed experts.
Theme: One Voice, Many Dreams
It is a theme that emphasises the power of a single voice to express diverse dreams, hopes and aspirations. The performer can choose a song that explores personal journeys or the realisation of dreams, creating an emotional and inspiring performance.
Insightful Attention
- The solo performance should align with the event’s theme.
- The allotted time for each performance is a minimum of three minutes and a maximum of five minutes, including stage setup.
- The participant should either accompany the soloist or bring the piano accompaniment in a pen drive (Mp3 wave format) as the organisers will not provide an accompanist at the venue.
- The performance should not be supported by a Conductor.
- The participants must wear formal attire and not their school uniform.
- The backdrop will be provided by the organisers. No props required.
