Mr Sanjeev Mondol began learning violin at age 10 while studying at Oxford Mission. In 1994, he moved to England to train under Emmanuel Hurwitz and earned a Diploma from Trinity College of Music, London. He later received a scholarship to study chamber music and advanced violin and viola in the UK.

After returning to India in 1996, he taught at Oxford Mission and performed across India, the UK, USA, France, Australia, and Japan. He also trained in conducting under renowned maestros, including Richard Gill.

He has worked with the Fukushima Youth Sinfonietta in Japan and the USA. He currently serves as Head of Music at Oxford Mission, teaches at St. James School, and leads the Kolkata Symphony Orchestra. He is also the Head of Department (HOD) of Western Music at Bishop Canning Academy and ABRSM Coordinator for Kolkata.
