Mr Diganta Choudhury holds an ARSM and an MA in English from Visva-Bharati University. He is currently a faculty member at Indus Valley World School, Kolkata, and a Consultant for ABRSM India, where he teaches communication skills and music.
Trained as a vocalist under Mrs Roshan Gazdar (LRSM) and later with the Late Situ Singh Bheuler, Diganta began his teaching journey at Sherwood College, Nainital. He later taught voice at the Theme Music School, the Delhi School of Music, worked with the Neemrana Music Foundation, and the National School of Drama, New Delhi.
He regularly collaborates with the SJH Orchestra for performances in Kolkata and specialises in training young vocalists in technique and expression. Many of his students have gone on to study at prestigious institutions like the Vienna School of Music and Georg-August-Universität Göttingen.
Currently, he is also a visiting faculty member and vocal scholarship jury member at the Delhi School of Music.
