Theme: Rock and Roll Through the Decades
Explore the evolution of rock music from classic rock to modern-day alternative and everything in between showcasing the versatility of genre.
Insightful Attention
- This event will be a team event.
- The maximum time allowed for stage setup and performance will be ten minutes.
- The team must be represented by a minimum of five and a maximum of seven participants including one singer.
- For effects only basic vocal effects like reverb and delay will be allowed. No vocal enhancing/pitch correcting digital effects will be allowed.
- Use of keyboards and synthesisers should be done by the participants only. No pre-recorded or auto rhythm music will be allowed.
- A drum kit (kick, snare, high hat, high tom, low tom, floor tom, ride cymbal, 2 crash cymbals), 1 keyboard amp, 2 guitar amps, 1 bass amp will be provided.
- The ideal band configuration includes lead vocals, a lead and rhythm guitarist, a bassist, a drummer, and optionally a keyboardist, with additional members like backing vocalists or percussionists to enhance the sound based on the band’s style and genre.
- The participants must wear attire suited in adherence to the competition and not their school uniform.
- The backdrop will be provided by the organisers. No props required.
