The CMS family honoured its most meritorious student Himanshu with great joy and enthusiasm and garlanded him with flowers at the CMS Head Office for securing second position in the CPMT Examination-2008 (Combined Pre-Medical Test) and thus bringing laurels to the city of Lucknow in the whole of India. There was jubilation on the face of every staff member of CMS as Himanshu is the son of Mr Gopesh, a staff member of the CMS Head Office in the account department. The CMS Founder-Director, Dr (Mrs) Bharti Gandhi and the CMS Founder-Manager, renowned educationist, Mr Jagdish Gandhi heartily congratulated the parents of Himanshu for their son's astounding achievement and hugged the brilliant boy who is all set to be a leading heart surgeon which is his dream. On this occasion, sweets were distributed to all the members of the CMS family as everyone blessed the meritorious boy and congratulated his beaming parents.
He secured 2nd rank in CPMT with just one mark below the first position holder and this singular achievement had brought glory to Lucknow in the whole country in this exam taken by 77000 students. Himanshu gave credit for this achievement to his parents Mr Gopesh Kumar of CMS Head Office and Mrs Mithilesh Kumar. He is grateful to his dear Principal of CMS Rajendra Nagar (Red Bldg.), Ms Deepa Tewari and Principal of CMS Kanpur Road, Dr (Mrs) Vineeta Kamran who nurtured his talents. He also thanks his younger brother Rishabh, also a meritorious CMS student, for his constant cooperation.
Himanshu studied from Montessori to Class X at CMS Rajendra Nagar and in ICSE, his percentage was 90.4% in aggregate. His Principal, Ms Deepa Tewari, recognized his rising talent and encouraged him to realize his aim of entering the medical line becoming a doctor. Thereafter, he took admission in CMS Kanpur Road and passed his ISC (Class XII) exam with 88% marks in aggregate. His continuous hard labour, determination and perseverance were translated into success slowly but surely. He studied 8 hours a day and gathered knowledge from all sides. In the end, he was able to realize his dream and his joy knew no bounds when he knew he was selected for CPMT securing 2nd position in this prestigious exam.
Himanshu wants to aim for becoming a heart surgeon and work at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). He says that difficulties come in life but they should not deter us from realizing our aim and losing our self-confidence. We should continue to work steadily and zealously towards our final goal and strike with full force to win. |
