CMS is one of the very few schools in the country to offer it’s children an Advanced Placement Exam Centre at it’s Gomtinagar Campus (I). The APs are taken by secondary school students by a group of highly trained teachers, to prepare them for university level courses in 34 subjects while they are still in school. Student with AP scores get an extra weightage to their university applications and may even avail scholarships for higher studies abroad. The exam patterns are such that they develop critical thinking skills, inquiry and problem-solving skills to better prepare them for education overseas.
CMS now offers a SAT exam centre at it’s Gomtinagar Campus (I), the first in the city and in the state of Uttar Pradesh. SAT offers assessments that allow students to prepare and get admission to colleges in U.S. It offers programmes to encourage students to pursue higher education abroad and navigate their path through high school towards college to seek a suitable career for themselves. Income-eligible SAT takers may also receive financial aid from colleges, universities, and scholarship programmes based on their SAT scores. CMS also is has it’s very own Study Abroad Co-ordinator to provide appropriate guidance to young aspirants.
Since March 2016, CMS has been affiliated with the Cambridge International Examination Board, at it’s Gomtinagar Campus (II). Cambridge programme is specifically designed to develop reasoning and analytical skills in students and is divided into curriculums to cater to the needs a specific age-group. Each curriculum offers various subjects for students to choose from. The curriculum is integrated with check-points to assess the development of a child at any given time. Cambridge International Education programmes have a proven reputation for being an excellent preparation for university, employment and life. Over 2 million students in 9,000 schools in 160 countries use Cambridge qualifications to get admission in prestigious universities worldwide. Cambridge Board help schools and teachers prepare their learners to be confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged. Languages like German and French are also introduced as subjects.
