Lucknow, May 14: Kanad Pandey, a student of CMS, Gomti Nagar Campus II has been selected for Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna (KVPY Fellowship) of the Government of India elevating the school's flag on national arena. He will be receiving the scholarship of Rs. 5000/- per month and Rs. 20,000/- as annual contingency grant during the 1st to 3rd year of graduation. At M.Sc. level course, he will be getting monthly stipend of Rs. 7000/- per month and annual contingency grant of Rs. 28,000/-. Thus, he will be getting scholarship of Rs. 4,92,000/- during five years of higher education. This fellowship scheme is a very enterprising project of the Government of India to encourage the undergraduate students to move ahead for research career and it is coordinated by Indian Science Centre, Bengaluru.
73 CMS students have got admission offers from top universities of the World
This year, until May 14, as many as 73 bright students of CMS have got admission offers from prestigious universities of UK, USA, Finland, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Many have earned lucrative scholarships for studying in these universities. The break-up of students is as follows: Mahanagar- 16; Gomti Nagar I -23; Kanpur Road-17, Gomti Nagar II-3, Aliganj-3, Chowk Campus-2, Rajendra Nagar I-2, Rajajipuram-4 and Station Road-3.
